The BBC downgraded him from MotD because of his bewildering and crass comments he was making which made no sense at all. Some thought they were due to early onset of memory loss and senior moments etc,. He is on a long contract with the BBC but was becoming an embarrassment so now we see very little of him. I wonder how long the BBC will let him make predictions on their website especially his woeful predictions for us and Everton plus you very rarely see him predicting a Liverpool loss or draw only a win! (he has gone for a draw today though for his beloved team).
The sooner they pension him off the better, for him as well as us!
