Sakho, Reid and Song Back To Face Toffees
Slaven Billic has been handed some good news after Saturday's Halloween horror show against Watford, ahead of this Saturday's match at the Boleyn against his old club Everton. Reid's availability is most timely due to the Ginger Pele's ridiculous sending off! Diafra Sakho has recovered from a slight thigh strain, and Alex Song is due to take a place on the bench. One obvious conclusion about the Hornets match is that Andy Carroll should not start, he is best used as a very very expensive super sub, but if he does come on for the last 25 or so minutes of the match and then scores or provides assists, perhaps it is financially viable. The fact is that Andy does not possess the same explosive speed of Sakho, Valencia or Zarate, and is probably best used as a plan 'B'. Quite how Carroll will feel about his role as a sub remains to be seen, but in a way at least it is a good problem to have!
The potential availability of Alex Song could provide his manager with a further conundrum, not so much for this Saturday as it would be imprudent to throw him straight in to what will be a very physical match (one that will suit a bull dozing traditional centre forward coming on for the last 20 minutes or so) so Song will probably come on in the latter stages. The issue will be, who makes way for him once he is back to full match fitness? Dropping Mr West Ham and current captain Mark Noble would be unthinkable at this moment in time, but as he is likely due to pick up a suspension the timing of the event will be dictated by that. However on a longer term, Who would make way apart from Noble?
Not a bad problem to have, compared to West Ham of old where the issue would have been 'how on earth can we get a Champions League winning midfielder to come and play for our club?' - Ed
NB: Our recent Poll confirms beyond doubt that Org members feel Carroll should only be used as a Super Sub

Thinking of our result last week and theirs ,this is going to be a tricky one ,i think Slav through a couple of fukcs into them and they wont dare play that?bad again , however did Sunderland make the toffees look good ?no doubt about it they have two leathel strikers so Read and Tomo are going to have to be on their game

Everton are beginning to show some decent form,Lukaku their danger man, always seems to score against Westham, he needs some close attention.Hope to see Sakho
back along with Reid , Song,and Ogbonna.....Team selection: Adrian....Jenkinson,Reid,Ogbonna,Cresswell....Song,Noble....Lanzini,Payet,Moses....Sakho......Subs.Valencia,Carroll,Tomkins,Zarate,O'Brien,Randolph,
Kouyate,
Antonio,Obiang......That's what I call strength in depth!!!..(maybe apart from the full backs)..... To be honest though I would prefer to see a return of the Sakho/Valencia partnership up front, but then it throws
the team shape out of whack. How can the team be set up to accommodate that front pairing?

Easy Essex , try and bring back O 'Neill and Mat Taylor ,also also ask Kevin if he can see his way to givin us a couple more games ,we should never have gotten rid he was dynamite with jarvis out wide and as for letting Carlton go north of the border ?, well i spose that speaks for itself , all in all this new lot ain't worth a wnak ,i mean god bless the good old days the toffee 's would rip us apart but did we give in ?, no , not until it was 4 orr 5 nill , we all looked for big Sam cupping his lug hole and we new that was a sign that nothing was going to change , we will play boring football with a lot of head tennis ,long balls up to no one in particular, arfter all thats the west ham way , the way the game should be played ,not like the new west ham all this sissy passing around ,making runs into the box , its not the west ham way .
Im of the belief Sunderland mede them look good and we have only a couple of adjustments to make , 3-1 to the mighty hammers and normal servis will be resumed

Agree "imo" he is a potential Expensive Super Sub at best and probably a good option if your playing against 10 men like the Chelsea game .. Valencia and Sakho for me every day of the Week !
