It's being reported that sakho is out of the game against Everton, so does it mean Carroll stays in for another game? I think it's imperative that Carroll goes back on the bench and Valencia replaces him. The other alternatives are changing the formation we play, and why do that when we are doing well? Like I have said before Valencia is the closest like for like with sakho so should fit in relatively easier into the team framework. Carroll isn't mobile enough or quick enough. We would need to play 2 upfront if Carroll plays unless we play more like Sam, and I'm not sure we have the squad to do that anyway. Also I'd bring back Reid, ogbonna and move Tonka to right back
Carroll and either Zarate or
Carroll and either Zarate or Lanzini playing off him
Agree
agree, later watford Carroll return to the bench. I would say to start with Valencia, but Saturday's match will be very difficult and he just recovered from injury.Start Zarate and Valencia insert later
Gutted
Sakho is different class and a huge loss. Interested to see how we adopt after last week, and it would be great to see Bilic getting his tactics right against an attacking side with depth. Mirales coming off the bench last week? I wish we had signed him instead of Jelavic.
Im afraid jelavic is a waist
Im afraid jelavic is a waist of space
Valencia?
I know a bad forward then I see one and as previously mentioned, he's never a PL footballer
One trick pony and not strong enough mate
He is predictable as he looks to cut inside on his right nearly all the time and physically he isn't up to the PL, he goes down every game from fair tackles and is struggling to cope. He isn't a proven striker at the top level and a bad buy in my opinion, hope I'm wrong obviously but I'm not.
