There Is No Plan B To Utilise Carroll's Strengths

Bilic is having problems utilising Carroll, playing him in a system that looks no different to the style the team has been playing up to now, which relies on pace and good movement up front, it's just not happening for the player. How many more games are we going to see Bilic use him in this set up before the penny drops? He is a target man ,his primary strength lie in the air,how many balls did we see crossed into the box in today's game ?....very few..Allardyce knew how to use Carroll and he set the team up accordingly with wingers who cross balls peppering the box from all angles and long balls from the back.,the football was less entertaining but it was effective ,that is what Bilic needs to adopt as a Plan B.Thoughts?
As far as the game today ,it was a poor display,Bilic summed it up perfectly in his after match interview.Thought the Match of the Day analysis from Schmeichal and Sinclair was good ,they homed in on an obvious weakness that has manifest itself a number of games this season about the defence.....Spurs pressed high up the pitch and basically the Westham defence couldn't deal with it when they are in possession, panic sets in, a loss of possession results..This has got to be a coaching issue.

Just don't start him...I don't know how many times I have seen 'impact sub'. FFS #SuperSlav start getting your minions or even read up yourself on the message boards that are written for your benefit. Sorry if that sounds angry, but its not effing rocket science.
I've even seen mention that he has been told to play Andicap by the one's above. For real...? They need their bloody heads testing if there is one iota of truth in the rumour...IMPACT SUB...goddit...IMPACT SUB..ffs.
AC should have been sold as soon as Hippo Head was shown the bloody door. He is a square peg being jammed into a round hole and it doesn't work.
We have far better options to start games, so please can we get back to winning ways and begin the process again. Otherwise I foresee doom and gloom and we don't want that again, do we...? #COYI

Perfectly summed up ausiron. Couldn't put it better myself. The players we have running the channels put the ball to feet not whack it into the mix giving anyone a chance. Cresswell is probably the only player who delivers the ball the way Carroll wants. Carroll ruins the team structure and ambition. Get rid by january. I find it embarrassing that when we played Everton bilic said all teams need a big man like Carroll and lakaku. They may both be big and strong but there is a world of difference between the to. Lakaku is good on the ground , quick, mobile can head the ball and can play in differing formations. Carroll can head the ball and is strong, and plays like its 1980

True 65 ,he's so one dimensional and predictable ,when he does have a good day he can drag defences all over the place but he's not the player he was ,how come them shites in in white always seem to produce a wonder kid ,Kane for me is special though it breaks my heart to say it ,and whats Vardy worth right now

Carroll is what he is ...he has just come back from another injury, and we are expecting him to score for fun.

In my mind he needs to play alongside someone or be used as a impact player...but at £70k+...He probably needs more time...the pressure will be on now , if he is not scoring and we are struggling.

To be honest, if we do not play to his strength there is no real point in playing him,we now have a choice of strikers but again he brings something different for the last 35 mins of a game.

So,if teams know we want to pass the ball out from the back and press high,we will make errors and Carroll will get starved of the ball away from home...this is where Andy's selection seems a little strange...but lessons learnt,we need to have that pace, to trouble teams on the counter home and away.
