Moses or Antonio?

Submitted by fred149 on Wed, 30/12/2015 - 19:14

When Moses is fit who would you prefer to start moses? Antonio or both? Me personally id rather Antonio because hes our player unlike moses and imo works 10x harder then moses

Antonio every day of the week and twice on Saturdays. I prefer everything about him and am convinced he will end up far more important to the team than a unterested over rated moses

We are upgrading the server over the new year's break in time for the match against Liverpool, until then no new topics can be posted, but comments can be. Sorry for this but it is required! - Ed

Jury is out for me...I like Moses skill and silkiness on the ball but doesn't have the fight in him like Antonio. Antonio runs everything down but is oh so bloody clumsy. I remarked elsewhere that he looks like his boots are 3 sizes too big or his laces are undone. Against Liverpool I would go Antonio one more time...I'm sure he has it in him, it just needs to be exposed and brought out.

I think one minute he looks like his control is quality then the next clumsy. But close control and dribbling are something that can be coached. Antonio looks like hes getting better and better every game so hopefully he will keep progressing.

Maybe I'm being biased but I think a lot of antonios short comings are as a result of over enthusiasm. So in time that edge will wear away and then we will see more. Isn't he a west ham boy tho and thro? So he's like a dog with 2 tails atm

A few of us were commenting on why antonio wasnt getting a look-in.Jelavic kept coming on as a sub, offering nothing,& the question was "why not at least give antonio a try".the man was a beast for forest last season albeit in the chumps!Over enthusiasm-probably,he is absolutely busting a gut to impress, knowing that payet, sakho, etc are due back very soon! This is his one chance to cement a place in the side.Against the saints,he may have fallen over, but that fluke goal was down to him not giving up!Carrols goal, has anybody else mentioned the header against the bar by antonio that led to it?As for the run at the end he wanted so much to score a "worldy" that he "spoofed it"!!-as he laid on the ground knackered i thought "well done son for the effort".if that had of gone in it would have gone down in folklore!!I say persevere with him because one thing us hammers fans love is a tryer...oh i forgot mose-had a blinder of a debut, but hasnt done much since...

Decent header to hit the bar for carrolls follow up. Also loved antonios goal haven't laughed that much at a goal. If he shows that much enthusiasm in training he will come very good. There is an old saying the harder I work the luckier I get!

undecided on Antonio, I know he got mom against Southampton but Against villa he was awful. He needs a run in the team to prove himself before Moses is fit again.

But not by a huge margin. Antonio reminds me of Cole gets the Jitters in front of goal trips over his own laces.. Goal was more luck than judgment against Southampton.. . Moses does not get muscled off the ball as easy.. No stats to base that on just watching the games..

I would like to see Antonio start in the Liverpool match, and depending on his performance, i.e if well below par then bring on Moses. I do not think that Carroll is fit to play the whole game, so Bilic will probably start Valencia at centre forward although I think that Valencia is better suited as a left winger. Antonio has the pace and skill to outrun defenders, so I personally would play him as a centre forward. He could out muscle Liverpool defenders like Sakho and Skirtel. Bilic will be spoilt for choices this weekend. Have to set my alarm for 7.30 AM Toronto time as the game is being shown live here.
