Roll on the FA cup

Submitted by Gerus on Sat, 02/01/2016 - 18:21

As the Liverpool double is sinking in nicely I have to admit that i can't wait for our game against Wolves for the FA cup. Finally a decent enough draw for the third round. We've had quite a terrible luck with this draw for the last few seasons and now it seems that our luck might be turning around regarding this. Wolves are not a league 2 side but dont look too convincing this season. Have watched them a couple of times and they didnt look great at all. Yeah they won against Brighton a few couple of days ago but we should be able to handle them. Give Moses, Reid, Jenkinson, Jelavic, Obiang and Song a start and keep the gems on the bench should something not go according to plan. Hope we get past Wolves and get another couple of decent draws as we advance. COYI it would be magical should we win it in the last season at the Boleyn.

We need to be careful they are not a bad team at all. They just beat Brighton (Who are not playing bad at all in the championship). I'm going for a 2-0 win

I went to the Boxing day game against the Villa and coming away with my Villa mate I was so down.

Now with the Saints game under our belt and a great win against Lawro's batty boys I'm making my first visit to the Boleyn in 2 years, ( did the stadium tour last Aug )...Whatever the outcome traveling on the train to the big smoke I know will be full of Wolves fans....I think a visit to Nathan's is in order...COYI's

is true that sometimes happen in the FA Cup results shocking, but this year the teams that we encounter should be scared of us. We go to Wembley

As with us all, would love a decent cup run to the final and a win. To see wembley decked out in our claret and blue would be a great end to an emotional season. As for Saturdays game, dont think Moses and Reid should be risked and Jelavic should stay and sweep up the changing room. I'm keen to see this team. Its a strong 11 and a really strong bench if needed.. Adrian, Tompkins, Collins, Ogbonna, Hendrie, Song, Oxford, Obiang, Antonio, Carroll and Cullen.... Subs.. Spiegel, Cresswell, Payet, Noble, Kouyate, Valencia and Onariase.
