Just as Nev gets the site back to normal and our performances, transfer targets and goodwill towards Sam start to evaporate. Reminds me of the old days :)
he said yesterday looking at our next 4 fixtures we would be doing well to get one point , at the time i was very annoyed having had a score on us to beat the hub caps , but after seeing yesterdays performance i readily agree with him
Hi Burkie, GM here from KK. Had to change my user name too, it's good to be back. Thought the Org was gone for good. Delighted we are eight and still in the Cup, but I'm worried FIFA might try to set an example. Results have been sluggish lately and I think this could be down to trying to use two different styles to accommodate players. If it wasn't broken why try and fix it.
Nolan.........was our earlier season form a fluke? Nolan & AC injured, Sam had to play Valencia & Sakho. But since AC's been back (he's been playing well by the way), the Sakho / Valencia partnership has never been used. Was hoping these two would get a game vs Manure this weekend, but looks like FIFA will kibosh that.
Could write reams about FIFA, but I'll restrain myself until we see (possibly today) what vote whoring nonsense Blatter comes up with. To be fair to Sam I don't think he has had many (if any) opportunities to play the Valencia/ Sakho front pairing lately. But I agree with your first point, he might well have stumbled onto that successful formation by chance. If he continues to pick Kev when he has a fit selection to choose from I'd be surprised. That's not a criticism of Nolan, who has been a great addition to the club, but he simply is getting older, and trying to turn him into a mid-fielder to shoe-horn his captain (and good captain he has been) hasn't worked.
agree with a lot of what you say Bully , whats going on with Sakho needs to be sorted and fast , he's a revelation and it wont be long till the big boys come knocking , Sams biggest blunder ,for me anyway is putting Dowling out wide again when he's proved he's he fits into the top of the diamond like a glove , Nolan was a good addition to the team back then but its over , still i really think we can beat manua on Sunday , coyi

Agree completely, Burkie.
Agree completely, Burkie. Downing not at the point of the diamond is back to what he was before: ordinary. Sam is maybe too loyal for his own good.
