Why i wouldnt play our jewel in the crown tomorrow, Blackburn have nothing else to play for ,their certainly out of the promotion race and like all the clubs in the lower league s they look on these type of matches as their last stand ,they will certainly have done their homework ,even more so than us and they know that Payet is fast approaching the best player in thel prem status, and make no mistake they will target him ,not saying they will set out to injure him (god forbid ) but they will give him special attention and you cant blame them ,so confuse them Slav, leave him on the bench
Know what you mean, Burkie
They will double team him and give him rough treatment. Let's just hope that it creates space for our other players. This match is not going to be easy with Valencia, Sakho and Carroll out and with Antonio forced into the RB position. Gotta hope that Moses is charged up from his good performance in the last match and that Noble continues to show good form.
Great thread Burkie!
Potential banana skin this game imo...
Everyone will expect us to beat them (never a good thing when we are not the underdogs!!)...i think your spot on to use him as an impact sub! They will target him no doubt about it,but one would hope we have enough in our locker to beat them...
I hope that lanzini plays & is match fit, roared on by 7,000 hammers!Id be happy with a draw & take them back to upton park...
No worries dicksy!!
Watching the first half & your spot on,payet is the difference!!Hes such a gem for us,we feel like wrapping him up in cotton wool...COYI
Half tidy, isn't he?
Half tidy, isn't he?
i like this one!
Payet produced a virtuoso performance!
Team performance
Payet pulls the strings but solid performances all round give him the opportunity...Antonio was very very good and Ginge is like a water tight insurance policy. Nobes keeps the whole midfield on a sure footing allowing Payet the freedom to roam left to right.
What a performance!
And I thought it would be difficult! HA!
