Over 2 legs we lost 2.0 on agg, against fiorentina in 1975, I think harry is right this game was the Anglo-Italian Cup Winners Cup

Right technically you are both right m6 and Harry. Harry to the exact wording is correct. But 2-0 on aggregate is still an Italian LEAGUE cup tie which could indeed count. How do we decide who is right? Fiiiggghhhhttt.

Well being it was the first tie you asked for in 1975,if that counts and the other tie against bristol rovers was in 1992 -93,i've got to be on a winner here trig ;)

Life's unfair so sorry Harry florentina was the tie I meant. When I said read it carefully I meant tie as in both legs added together hence not a game but a tie. Hence lost 2-0 not 1-0. Having said that Harry I like the cut of your jib.

I was standing in a queue about 6 months ago and noticed some guy having a bit of friendly banta with a young lady working on the till. I asked the young lady if it was Steve Jones and she confirmed it was, and she commented on how nice he was. Seen him since working there and he always has a smile on his face, quite humbling really.

I can remember very little about Steve Jones only that he played for us twice and worked in a soap factory. No idea why but I do remember me willing the guy to do really well, on both occasions. I love a good fairy tale! Antonio?

M6 on a roll. Bonds Was was indeed scrapping with Mac due to his lack of effort. Apparently Mr greenwood let them get on with (probably had 20 quid on bonzo)
