It all evens itself out during the season

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on Sat, 02/04/2016 - 23:45

Well you often hear it from the so called big clubs that things even themselves out over a season, personally I never have believed it as a fan from a team outside the usual suspects. Well if anyone is believe it is true we only have a few games left and during these games that have been denied Us through refereeing incompetence, we are gona be going on a red hot streak no one can touch! Of course I could be right and it's just a load of smoke and mirrors to deflect the favouritism from certain clubs. From now until the season end who will get more rub of the green West Ham or Man Utd? If the saying is true we should breeze it somehow I think it just ain't gona happen.

Well clintenberg sure evened things up for palace, but I must say that we did hand it on a plate to em,with 2 errors, adrian should have pushed it out for a corner and ogbonner and reid, what a f*ck up that was,as for Gayle he recovered well from that hail of bullets!

Agree moore6 but there hasn't been too many mistakes this season. Probably will be hung for this but I thought Slaven was a bit slow shoring things up when we went down to ten men.

Yep! Valencia on instead of tonks seemed a strange one, when kouyate went off ,but then again another goal would have killed the game, swings and roundabouts.

I agree we lost due to Adrian having a mad rush of blood and ogbonna failing to clear an easy right footed clearance but trying to use his left.

We made mistakes, yes, but we had taken the lead and looked for all the world like scoring a third or even a fourth before the end of the match UNTIL the send off.

We need to start ripping seats out
This league is killing us
I was thrown out saturday as I almost vaulted the advertising boards. I will literally strangle that 'ting fake tanned shit clint abortion of a ref.
Ahem.
I didn't agree with his decisions. My bad.

No comments on any of the refereeing decisions that have went our way over the years?!!

Would see "technology" come in to the game tomorrow (and in the ideal world years ago).

Strange though that a lot of fans still say "it would spoil the game" then complain vehemently when things go against their side?!

How else will it ever be any different?!

Its been like this for a long time now.

for football, they just need to use it like they do in Rugby. OK the game might go on for an extra 5 mins, so what, the fans will love it, looking at the decision on a big screen and waiting for the ref to make the correct decision. If the ref,s have an issue with this, that is there problem.

How many of the decisions "that have went West Hams way" are you tasking into account Ashes?

I think as fans we only remember those that goes against our teams no?!

showing us at the bottom of the league in bad decsions, with Manure and Leicester at the top. Vardy's challenge in the Southampton fixture was as bad or worse than Kouyate's yet they get the rub of the green and go seven points clear, while we don't, fall to sixth, and lose Kouyate for three crucial fixtures. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this isn't compensated by bad decisions that have gone our way. But look, I'll put it this way: I'd hate to win or draw by means of a bad decision. I would consider that shameful. I know a lot of fans wouldn't, but hey, what is sport without fair play? And it's just for that same reason that I feel so much outrage over the recent decisions against us.

A fair response Ashes.

But "tables" like all "statistics" can be "blurred"!!

Say you get 1 penalty this season. Is that your average?

Imagine if you had got 5 last season?

So would "your average" be 3?

And if you get 6 next season does that become "your average".

Or would it be 4 by adding the 3 previous seasons?

Or 3.5 by adding this seasons and next?!!

You can see where im going (I hope).

Im as frustrated as the next supporter BUT I HONESTLY DONT BELIEVE theres any "conspiracies".

I think football has become "its own victim" by the way modern day players try to "con refs" and by that conning everybody connected to the game!!

You make the excellent point regarding "not wanting to win by means of a bad decision" and then totally slam dunk the nail on the head by saying "but not all fans feel would" !!

So what that in essence means is "its ok if things go our way but not against us"?!

So who "is it going against"?!

The fair minded fans of X,Y and Z !!!

How does that make anything right?!!!

Truth of the matter is the modern day game with the pace its moving at and the aforementioned "players hell bent on getting each other into trouble" makes it NIGH ON IMPOSSIBLE for anybody trying to keep up with it and getting 1 look at it to call it correctly even a "high percentage" of the time!!

If you want to leave a football stadium now knowing "all the decisions are correct" theres ONLY ONE WAY TO GO in my humble!!

Just for the record have you seen "the Marcelino incident"?!!!

Buts it's all trivial.
We've been raped several times in the past few weeks.
I'm surprised it hasn't kicked off more to be honest.
The east upper were verging on getting the game called off Saturday by invading. I went, none followed.
Patsy.
Bastards.
Still funny though.

Well if it all evens out over the season, we are due about three or four penalties and a couple of red cards for the opposition in the last remaining games of the season. A rescinded red card helps but it doesn't put points on the board.
