He 's available for the gooners ,but does it address the problem ,i think when a red card is rescinded they should give a point along with it it ,after all it cost us three
I'd love to see the owners create a bit of a stink (in some ways) about this.... Wouldn't want to be seen as whingers I know, and as Slav suggested, we'll roll up our sleeves and get on with it.
Honestly though, apart from Jenkinson's red being upheld at the beginning of the season, how many red's have we had overturned this term??
Must be some kind of record. The effect of bad decsions on us is painfully obvious. We'd be going into the Arsenal match on a run of SIX straight victories, FIVE in the league, with a guaranteed appearance at Wembley, and a chance to go equal on points with Arsenal if we win. Instead we are in 6th place, behind both Manchester teams, with only a distant chance of qualifying for CL and two or three teams breathing down our necks for a Europa League qualifying spot. That difference must be worth tens of millions of pounds.
Calling the rescinding of the red card 'good news' detracts from the travesty of it in the first place and what it and the other rescinded cards from this season hide which is the fact that refs consistently penalise or fail to award us any retribution for instances taking place on the pitch. I just hope that the FA and it's men in black are listening not just to us fans and all associated with WHU but the increasing voices of neutral pundits and commentators who are also beginning to see a pattern here.
3 out of 5 red cards rescinded. only one penalty all season and an independent panel have shown West Ham to have had 9 legitimate penalties turned down.
Now tell me that there is not a bias against us by the referees this season!!!!
Really didn't expect this to be rescinded based on my lack of faith in the f.a this has restored it just a little. Hopefully they will yank referees by the chain and reel them in a bit. It's takes these situations to deny our place in the top four, even small margins count and these add up to more than small margins
Get the bunting mother it's all ok now!!!!
Absolute monstrosity.
Never been so angry.
Can you tell?
That's our CL opportunity gone people.
Absorb that.
So again a red card is rescinded...& YET again no action is taken against the inept ref!Everyone ( apart from the ref & certain dimwit pundits!) could see it was a yellow at the very most...but hey what do we know eh!!!
Saw a similar tackle in the Barca v Athletico match tonight, Referee gave a yellow card. They will eventually bring in a video ref and going by FIFA's standards that will be about 15 years.
Ha ha -- I saw the tackle too. and 15 years is about their speed. By then other sports will have automatic live super high definition cameras plus deep blue algorithms and solve every disputed call in a milisecond. FIFA will come in with something that will take AGES to resolve and still not get the call right.
