Just watching the match from Paris and the commentator says he's looking for 600 grand a week to play in the prem ,isnt it about time the teams got together and showed some solidarity and collectively tell him to shove it ,he obviously wants to end his career in England but these wage demands are becoming a joke and its all the hangers on that benefit, wat cha fink ?

The simple way to play this is with the margins. What could you get for, say, £41.5M a season, or £40M for that matter? Hell, think what you could get for £30M and how much you would save. Prudent clubs will be able to challenge prodigal ones simply because the quality difference is not so great that you need £41.6M a season in one person's wages to challenge for a spot.

600,000 a week, he's worth it. We should leave no stone unturned and............I'm going to say it, even if it means going to the Credit Union for a loan.!!!!! Seriously is it any wonder that the top end of football has become corrupt, when they look down the food chain and see what footballers are earning. Read an article the other day where a footballer who was coming near the end of his career was going to have to drop down to 30,000 a week. My heart bled for him, I know that it's a short career and they like to make as much money as they can but it's gone beyond a joke. IT'S IMMORAL.

He will never beat my scoring ratio at Upton Park, a goal a game and from 25 yards......and I'm 5' nothing, 45 and a black belt in being streetwise......
