Thought that may wake a few of you up and know it is not reality well not yet it isn't but with the whole deal coming to light its been shown that we as a club do not have a veto over any other club wanting to share the stadium all that happens is our costs would be reduced and we get priority over fixtures....so I am guessing for the one season maybe two that the spuds need to build there own new stadia Levy will be interested very much so in ground sharing as they are having trouble finding somewhere to play....and whats to stop chelski doing the same....yup it will happen I am sure of it and so our new home will be forever tainted with anyone wanting to play there can if they have go the money of course.....so its not OUR HOME at all we are just council tenants when all said and done.
I dont see anyone wanting to
I dont see anyone wanting to play in a stadium all decked out with cross hammers with bloody great signs every where saying "come on you Irons "
Basically I think you will
Basically I think you will find that West Ham are going to be the lone tenants for football with no other club allowed to play on the surface as a sharing club (only as opponents!) The pitch would be ruined if two clubs played on it. It is also part of the agreement West Ham signed up for.
Mz Bradey has stated this several times ever since Orient started making silly ground share comments.
Wembley have offered cup games for Spurs so far (not agreed yet) and as Charlton have been relegated they need extra finance as do a few London clubs and my bet is that is where Spurs will end up and not the QE Stadium!
We will see!!!
Another factor is the hatred
Another factor is the hatred between Levy and West Ham and several deals that were scuppered by him on purpose at the last minute, the hacking of phones by Spurs when we were sorting out the deal for the stadium and of late SUGO's reluctance to do any business with them since then.
I really cant see Spurs being allowed to ground share with us any time soon!
i agree
with what you say Bondsy but we don't get a say.....all we get is priority on fixtures
