That'll dent their confidence. Up 2-0 at home, up 1-0 after 76 seconds, and then levelled by a relegation side led by Rafa. We stay 6th by the slenderest of margins. Have to keep winning. Just one really difficult fixture left (Manure) and we owe them some payback. Liverpool also have a difficult fixture against Chelsea, who rolled Bournemouth 4-1. Southampton still in the mix. All to play for IRONS!
5th spot would be nice ashes
5th spot would be nice ashes, finish above poo and the mancs should be our goal now, some consolation for that disappointing cup exit COYI
And don't forget Chelsea!
What a season!
Yeah! We've been so busy
Yeah! We've been so busy ashes, I never noticed chelski are now safe from relegation ;)
Well done
the Magpies!
Favour from Mancs
We need Mancs to win the FA cup, though I hate saying that, so that if we slip to seventh, then we can still play in the Europa Cup as the worst case scenario. However, we can pray that Arsenal slip up further after Allarbaby's Sunderland restricted them to just a point. All we have to do is focus on winning one game at a time starting with West Brom and the best case scenario would be Manc Citeh winning the Champions Cup. Then we can have the top five qualifying for Europe Champions Cup. Tall order though thanks to the wonderful refereeing decisions in recent matches. :( One more piece of good news is that Leicester are coasting to a 4-0 win. So no League Champions glory for Spuds. :)
Hard to call this run in but
Hard to call this run in but I'm expecting for us to need 100 per cent record if we want fifth probably to big a call.
Yep! agree red,we must stay
Yep! agree red,we must stay focused,no f*ck ups from any players and poxy officials at our expense, give the mankers a good hiding, wont have to worrie about them winning the cup, cause I want them to win jack sh*t.
I'm picking 10 points from the remaining four games
I'd love more but we either beat Manure then look tired on the last day or the other way around. Hopefully 10 points will get us 5th and I wonder how our current team would go against the boys of 86, with a time machine provided.
I'm still picking 12
why not?
