any excuses England had left such as being tired/long hard season/to many games/no winter break....well wales performance at the euros kind of knocks that on the head....good luck to them and our country from the players and the F.A with all there dumb psychologists who are there to instill a winning mentality(pathetic) should hang there heads in shame....egos do not make a team something the next England manager needs to understand and also realise there are players even outside the top flight who can contribute to the national side

Why is it every time we get a

Why is it every time we get a new England manager (based on his experience,trophies, record etc) they all start inventing new ideas on training, systems, interchanging according to the opposition etc rather than do what they know best and just keep it simple.
Iceland, even Wales pick the same team almost every time and look where they are right now.
Roy Hodgeson did it right during the group stages winning all his games before the Euro Finals but really went to town on new ways of training with massive message boards for each of the players to read before they went out (Don Revie comes to mind) changing the system every time in three warm up games and changing the team every time in the his three group games qand last 16 at the finals.
He is not the only one to do it basically all of them ever since Alf Ramsey was in charge have f****d it up big time!! Even Bobby Robson had to be told by several senior players to go back to basics in 1996 and we got to the semis that time.
Just watch the FA muck it up again with the wrong man and then watch as new training, systems etc creep in!!!!

Bondsy I agree they have all f:cked it up maybe venables aside. Allardyce and England? They deserve each other, but we need a progressive manager that's not a yes man not a dinosaur

you cant play 442 anymore and expect to win and having a big man upfront is in the past lol football is a simple game played by simple men!! but the coaches/managers try to over complicate matters and start inventing systems to play in which are just confusing to most players....and when they lose its not theres or the players fault it has to be something else and enter the team psychologists talk about money for old rope......
