The injury sustained by Aaron Cresswell towards the end of Hammers 3-0 victory in the last of their Austrian tour put a bit of a dampener on the proceedings, however, courtesy of our long lost South American correspondent Pablo R, currently domiciled in Europe and co-incidentally in attendance of the match because of his Austrian TV presenter girl friend, we are able to confirm that the injury, whilst very painful is not as bad as it first looked. Further tests will be made, but as it stands Cresswell will be able to take his place in the staring line up for thursday's Europa League match, however the West Ham United medical team may decide to play safe and rest the player for the first leg ahead of the tie to played at the Olympic Stadium, which whatever way you look at it, despite the Juventus friendly hype, is actually going to be West Ham's first ever competitive match there.
