Oh no, Valencia starts, "we are doomed!" (c) dad's army. Fletcher starts (c) Porridge! Manuel to come on! (c) Fawlty Towers!

Why didnt we keep moses on loan for another season? Had attacking threat and goals in him. Better than Tore and Valencia and he is banging them in for Chelski this season

F sake... not only did Sterling scire the first goal, now a man who hasnt scored in a year gets a free header and nods the ball in

Hmm .. Sadly that's enough for me .. This is Boys against Men stuff today .. Off to watch some Cricket albeit we may end up with a Cricket type score here yet at this rate .. Lol

Tore has already shown us he can't play up front now he is proving inept in the midfield. At least Oxford will improve with every game.

Billic looks embarrassed - and he should be! We were never going to put a strong side out but we are getting trounced !! Passing is desperate. WH look like they can't wait until this game has finished !!

Musuaku is the only one giving it a go... he is not as good as Cresswell at building attacks but he is definitely trying! This is a poor showing. We no longer have the excuse about being a smaller club now. What was it - £60m spent this window??

Man City are a side full of flair players, our creativity comes from players that are injured.
You can't hold onto the ball if you haven't got it...Simple as.
So let's have some suggestions then, apart from poor defending on the second goal, what should Slav do to improve things?

Well at least we actually started playing in the second half... has to be the final proof for Bilic to play Antonio further up the pitch and to leave Valencia and Tore out

Fantastic second half effort for me, much better shape (fair play to Dicks on here for phoning the manager at half time!) plenty to work with there for Slav.
And yet still the 'experts' suggest that City looked disjointed, what a load of bollocks that....Never mind, game time for Lanzini plus Payet, Feghouli etc should be back after the break so I'm positive COYI!

A much better second half. Some positive changes from Slaven. We will be harder to beat when (if) the the injury room empties.

Of the Antonio experiment, it just doesn't work and its obvious to everyone!! Defo Red Card for Aguero! We deserved nothing after that shocking first half, but things will improve as players return i'm sure.

That switch with Byram at right back and Antonio up front along with Lanzini in for Valencia definitely was far more positive than the starting eleven. No doubt if Aguero was red carded as it was obvious from that vicious elbow on Reid, West Ham might have got something from this game. Shocking for the referee to miss that, and a very similar decision to the one against Costa on Adrian. The one positive is definitely Musuaku. The manner in which he created that goal for Antonio suggests that once Cresswell is back in the squad I think he would be great in a more midfield position. He has got the ball skills that along with Antonio, just rattled City in the second half, and would have a more dominant midfield. Watching that third City goal scored by Sterling, it seemed like Collins had picked up an injury and was labouring to try and tackle Sterling. A more fit Collins would have prevented it. Seriously, with Zaza and Payet in the starting lineup against Watford, we may start seeing the 2015 West Ham performances.

Congratulations to Antonio for his England callup. Mark Noble did himself no favours when he gave the ball away very cheaply on a couple of occasions, that must have costed him that callup for England. If he scored at the very end then quite possibly Allardyce may have given him the thumbs up.
