Hot on the heals of Gus Poyet's sacking by Sunderland, Sam Allardyce has emerged as test placed to takeover as manager. Our gaming partner www.bonuscorner.com have confirmed that the serious money is being placed on the incumbent Hammer's manager replacing Poyet. The timing and sequence of events could prove to be acceptable by most parties involved. Should Big Sam decide to take up the offer of helping Sunderland survive, for which incidentally he would be royally rewarded, the West Ham co owners David Gold and David Sullivan would not have to pay up the rest of his contract, furthermore they might even get a compensation payment from the Mackams!
Now this course of action would meet with the wide approval of most Hammers fans, but who would take over, in what capacity and for how long? Michael Laudrup is the current name in the frame, who despite being the manager of Qatar Stars League club Lekhwiya, could be paid out of his contract with the proceeds of the 'Sam' transfer money. If an interim manager were appointed it would allow time for Slacen Bilic, David Moyes and even Rafa Benitez to be put in the frame. -Ed

You can just see it cant you. Sam takes over the Mackems, first game at Upton Park Sunderland expose our shortage of defenders and win 3-0.

Yeah that would sound about right jeff
Can see it now Uncle Ted in
Can see it now Uncle Ted in charge for the rest of the season with no defensive coach it would be a case of who cares who wins, instead of who dares wins.....

Don't see it happening myself
Don't see it happening myself, but who knows... As for a new manager for us next season, I've been reading up about this Bielsa guy, he sounds interesting.
Bielsa speaks little English
Bielsa speaks little English unfortunately,so I think its a no go with Sullivan and Gold.He would need an interpreter, not ideal. But when Southampton brought over Mauricio Pochettino he couldn't speak a word of English ,he managed the team okay, and has picked up English well now. There are ways round the problem, but they may view it as a hassle you can do without.
See wally with the brolly
See wally with the brolly mcclaren in the frame for em lol
Cant see it!
It would be nice if it were true Nev, but I cant really see many teams even Sunderland wanting Allardyce's style of football, especially with the run we have had since Christmas (one Premiership win over Hull) I reckon SUGO will just say goodbye to him after the Newcastle game hoping we have picked up 6 or 7 more points to avoid relegation in our last 9 games.
BFS
I think that I will protest very loudly about keeping BFS. Can you imagine also losing Carroll and that warrior Nolan. They will be so sorely missed.
nice to be back
I see Dick Advocate has been appointed at Sunderland. So, they didn't want Sam after all; at least not right now. But West Ham must be brave after this season and let him go. There are "Sam Support" articles popping up all over the place now (the latest I saw was Collison saying Sam and Kev Nolan maintain dressing room unity), but we need to move on, say goodbye to Sam and Kev and Song and JOB and Jarvis and Cole, perhaps even Andy Carroll. We need to get some support for Valencia and Sakho and Kouyate, retain (as we have) Adrian, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell and Noble (and probably Collins), and maybe take the plunge on Jenks (though he has cooled off). Strong centre mid with good passing ability needed. Fast, skilled wingers needed (must be able to cross). Extra support at striker never goes astray. Time to build further on the good signings of last summer.
Forgone conclusion Sam will
Forgone conclusion Sam will not be outed before the end of the season and Sunderland probably didn't want to risk leaving the reins in the hands of a caretaker manager when their prem Survival is on the line. Also no way G&S would leave us rudderless at this stage with an supposedly easy run of games coming up which defines our season, although too many of thse are fighting relegation so not gonna be as easy as everyone thinks. Also Sam could still stay come the end of the season depending on how it pans out. too many variables for Sunderland to consider so they opted for a new man now.
