The loss of a parent is one of the hardest losses of all, they have been there all your life in thick and thin. My dad is 83 but I lost my mum at 60 years old twenty years ago but still miss talking to her. It takes a while to get over but the memories are yours forever mate so always cherish them and he will still be with you.

The strength of fondness you express is a sure sign of how loving your dad was.
