It not a great start but it could be worse, we could be a couple down. They must be saving Ayew for the game on the weekend and as I say that Fletcher scores. What a dream come true for the young bloke. Good on him.

at the start, get the bloody ball out of the area. It's like they are still on a break and they paid for it.

We are digging a bigger hole for ourselves but that was a soft penalty for wooden the prick.

We're playing one of the most expensive teams in the world at their patch for the second time in a week. A loss would be worse than embarrassing for them. They were seeking "revenge" for Sunday. What's tough about this match is the lack of any real goal scoring threat. Great job by Fletcher to get the one goal.

But its not just him, there is no threat up top at all...also feghouli had a couple of chances at the end,& defo should have at least buried the 2nd!!another frustrating game,i feel sorry for the fans who made the trip up there!!

Didn't look like we gave a fk in that second half.
Started out poorly, Payet isn't beyond criticism here with that sloppy pass that gave them the second goal - Too many individual errors yet again plus the costly injuries make it a pretty shit evening unfortunately.

Team weren't up for it and when Cresswell came off injured and then Antonio that was the nail in the coffin. Can't play 3 at the back without proper full backs... Payet shouldnt even be in that position when he gave the ball away! He should be up front or midfield, with the attack - which tells you something about our attack tonight... I think we missed Noble in midfield. Obiang played okay but Fernandes doesnt have the defensive or passing quality to face Uniteds midfield

Agreed about Payet in the left back spot (Arthur was way out of position) but the pass was terrible, he should've put his foot through it.
In fact, Payet's whole attitude was not right at all tonight....Doesn't look like he wants to be here anymore.

Yeah never thought I would say it after last Season but iof someone offers around 30/40 Million for Payet we should take it .. Plus he's nearly 30 .. "imo" We really do need to regroup after Christmas and also have a Good Squad Clearout .. I can perhaps see us ending up in the Bottom 6 this Season at Best .. Plus we have the New Ground appearing to be working against us .. I reckon playing at Upton Park was worth around 9/12pts last Season .. But lets wait and see how it all pans out in May !

thought I best not say anything until this morning. I soon as Cres went off i knew it would fall apart, it was not that good before but after we made a pretty ordinary side look good, not sure what Slav can do about it if anything, but if he cant turn things around soon I can see us going down. NOT more bloody injuries WTF.
