West Ham's centre half Doneil Henry has been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining a serious hamstring during Blackburn's 3-1 victory over Charlton Athletic on Saturday. The news was confirmed yesterday afternoon by Rovers boss Gary Bowyer."Unfortunately for Doneil Henry it is going to be the end of his season for him, he's with a specialist as we speak. We wish him all the very best." Henry, who moved to West Ham during the January transfer window has already returned to Chadwell Heath, where he is currently being assessed. This dreadful news was shortly followed by the official confirmation of James Tomkins' need for surgery on his dislocated shoulder, like Henry, Tomkins will be out for the rest of the season. Losing two central defenders for the remainder of the season is going to put a lot of pressure on the Ginger Pele and warrior Reid, they will have to be supplemented by Cheik Kayoute, this in turn would mean Morgan Almafitino or Diego Poyet would have to be brought into the midfield in order to try and emulate the high energy that Kayoute brings to the game.
This has not been the best of weeks for West Ham fans, and annoyingly Big Sam has already started on his pre-match negativity routine by saying how hard the match against Sunderland is going to be, during this season Hammers have beaten Manchester City and Liverpool at the Boleyn, surely Allardyce should be reminding his squad of what they can do, not what they should fear! -Ed

Sam's innate negativity is
Sam's innate negativity is one of the reasons we should replace him. I believe if the manager is thinking that way, it can't help but infect the players. I think it's cost us a lot of points this season because we've gone into games believing we can't possibly win. When far weaker sides than ours (like Bradford) have shown us it IS possible to beat the "big boys."
What do expect from Sam.Nolan
What do expect from Sam.Nolan will play, and one forward up front in a 451 formation instead of 442.and going for it.
With Sam being so bloody
With Sam being so bloody predictable in formation and personnel the opposition have a week to sort out their tactics to nullify his approach. Knowing how negative he will be too the new man will have the easist of baptisms to the Prem League. Plank!
sam negativity
surely its not to much to expect at least 4 points from our next 2 games ?
Pregame Rant
Having watched the Mabu Dhabi Citeh v West Brom game, I just wonder how and why West Ham are getting thumped by lower teams. No doubt West Brom played with 10 men for most of the game, however they barely had any co-ordination throughout the game. By the way our under 21 team also got thumped 5-0 by Liverpool and are all set to get relegated as they finish the season with 12 points. How pathetic is that, and BFS has got an excuse for not including any youngsters in our injury hit season.
