anyone seen him play? must say if we do sign him id say well done to the board. i think he's a better bet than someone from overseas again. tony cottee thinks he will be a good signing too, says his movement up front is excellent.
Rochdale 2013/14 Played 33 Games, 2014 to Date? Played 33 Games!
He's had major knee problems and isn't fit now, yet we are looking to pay £12m+ for a player that no-one else seems interested in? Championship v Premiership is a big difference and so many players that are prolific down there get found out in the PL. I so hope they get this right but history says they won't, we are crap at buying forwards! I would go for Berahino as I think the right manager will get him playing and he is a very good forward. Defoe all day but that ain't going to happen unfortunately.
Berahino's nut has gone mate, he's been in therapy abroad for about 4 months. I agree about Hogan though, I'm not so happy to jump in with this one, I'd rather see what happens at the end of the month, once there is moevemnet. People have to remember that clubs hold out letting players go til they have a replacement lined up, or the other way round. Hart for instance, we can't do that deal till we offload Adrian and visa versa, it's not that easy. Hope family are well?
Very sad story in his early years of life, amazing that he got anywhere given the hardship and limited opportunities he had. Hope he turns it around as he is a very good forward n my opinion. Family are okay thanks mate and hoping the same for you and yours?
We moved in May and after several months of pathetic arguments over planning with the local council the works have started on the bungalow. We moved out and into a flat for 6 months but just up the road. We haven't been to all the games this season but sadly we did last week v Citeh! Have you been going mate?
Hogan has had 2 ACL injuries pretty much back to back (cruciate ligament) I wouldn't trust him not to break down although he's firing well at present for Brentford. Berahino would take 3 months to get match fit currently. I think we are in for Batshuayi at Chelski on Loan to a view to permanent......
we look good enough for Batshuayi well sorry but he wanted the Wonga so he made his bed let him lay in it for next few years...harsh maybe but to many players think ££££'s then bitch and moan when they are bench material at best with the likes of chelski/manure/citeh.....want to play football you gotta get real...want the money only well stop moaning when you don't play.
I'd be surprised if this one came off. Sully himself said after the Andy Carroll nightmare he'd never put himself in that position again when Charlie Austin was available. Can't see it with a player untried at PL level.
Apparently they have now turned down 3 bids as they want £15m? We should pull out immediately and move on, or we will be a laughing stock as soon as he goes down injured and out for ages.
But they are feeling the pressure they have put themselves under and desperate men do desperate things at times....personally I would say no and just let player know we wanted him but were priced out of the market by his club then let them deal with a player who would be pi**ed off the rest of the season at not getting a move to the prem.
