No wonder his form has been down this season as the pressure and expectation has all been on him. It may be just my opinion but if he wants to go then get a such as we can and let him go, with 30 or 35 million we should be able to get in a decent player to replace him plus a decent right back which we badly need.

Sorry but no. This is immoral in my book and the reason why football is dying as a sport. We give him the contract he wants and then he sulks and goes on strike. BTW he's been on strike all season!!! If we can afford it let the f***er rot in the reserves. When I tell me kids he's refusing to play, they'll be gutted, then angry, that's the reaction we should have.
