So Klop looks likely to leave dortmund and is in favour of a move to england. the news is he wants to terminate his contract as dortmund have had a terrible season this year. personally i think he'd be ideal for us. he was a dortmund 7 years where he built a legacy of pressing football and brought through great young players. his hands were tied to be fair when the club sold goetze and lewandowski, two great players. could he be a target for us? could he be the choice to take us to the new stadium? i'm totally all for it. a man with trophies to his name, and european football on his cv…..thoughts?

Young, personable, speaks excellent English, perfect for a long-term project. But could our bunch have kept this quiet??!!?? maybe we'll find out shortly...

Man City are odds on to want him, we are 45-1. :-))

If only we could get him. Anyway -- that's the SORT of manager we want.

No chance for Klopp unfortunately. He will indeed go to City or another of the top top guns. If we have can snap Benitez I'd say go for it. If you want to become a more of high profile club take a manager who has the name and the trophies to back it. I've always supported Big Sam but I can't see him moving us forward. Nowadays you need top players in almost every signle transfer window to keep up and Benitez can bring such players.

Klopp will never come to West Ham. He's way too big a fish for us. Koop will go to Real Madrid and Ancekotti will go to Man City.

Dortmund only won 4 games before Xmas, and are lower in the Bundesliga than we are in the PL, 6 points away from relegation. Maybe he's not good enough for us anyway :-)

Interesting reading up on Klopp's remarks over the last year or two. He makes it very clear that he sees England as the next place he wants to manage. He has also said Manchester City's philosophy (essentially to buy trophies) is not his; that too much money brings it's own problems. It seems he is the kind of manager who wants challenges, who wants to build a team, not simply inherit 300 millions worth of top players, spend another 200 million, and instantly get trophies, as City's owners seem to expect. He might be a rather different man to most top European coaches.

Just bumped into him outside Ken's Cafe.......he's on his way......He's British, got Prem experience and worked with Tony Henry @ Everton.......it's a dead cert........plus he will keep our defence solid (to keep the pro-Sam supporters happy), but will set-up with wing-backs and will attack with a big striker (to keep everyone else happy), plus he won't have to completely update our current squad. But wouldn't mind Mirallis and a Baines-type player coming our way, plus even Lakaku.......we are Davy Moyes Claret & Blue Army...........COYI !!!!

can't see it unfortunately. I have heard two rumours from contacts and posted on here weeks ago, one being Harry's return and the other being Moyes. So what if......Harry is given a short-term deal with an option to extend, given that we won't have to buy out an existing contract and the fact that he knows the club inside out?

I've also heard that Moyes is the bloke they want, I just don't believe he'll desert Sociedad just a few months into a contract. He appears to like it in Spain, and they seem to be pleased with him.
I really can't believe they'd seriously take 'Arry, people might dislike Sam, but large sections of our support LOATHE Redknapp. I think they are too in tune with the supporters to do something so divisive.

A lot of hammers detest harry, but i reckon he would do wonders with our squad.Hes twice the manager sam is,like you say antkb hes available, and on a short term contract it might just turn out well...

City don't seem to be interested and a move to The Hammers mightn't seem as ridiculous as it sounds. Could be the challenge he's looking for.

Yeah, those 45-1 odds have already dropped dramatically, Skybet has us at 12-1 now, but you can still get 25-1 elsewhere, think I'll have a punt at that price.
