Ok slip of the keyboard..........Garry Monk is the latest name to be linked with us this morning. Seems an alright sort of geezer, young, plays the right way. If the Fat one does Foxtrot Oscar out at the end of the season, we could do a lot worse...?
anyone booger , anyone at all
anyone booger , anyone at all , David Cameron, Jeremy clarkson, butross butross garli
I think
Harry monk is about right!!
Not likely IMO. Always
Not likely IMO. Always thought they would want a 'name' for when we move into the OS. Monk aint that, and he's very inexperienced.
I think Eddie Howe would be
I think Eddie Howe would be more up our street.
Good young manager.
Eddie howe, cant see him leaving bournemouth though mate, theyre his club,& are odds on to go up..
Nothing against Monk,he has
Nothing against Monk,he has made good progress at Swansea, but he is hardly a big name manager that the club needs to match it's ambitions for the new stadium.Typical Westham going for the cheap option if the rumours are true, when we all know that the next appointment will be the most crucial signing in the clubs history.I read some of the forum posts about who fans would like to see take over and are amazed at how unambitious some of the fans are.For crying out loud ,the club are about to enter a new era,a brand new 55,000 seater new stadium ,a huge door is opening to finally compete at the highest level of club football, how long have we been waiting for that? ,but you can kiss that goodbye if another second rate manager is appointed. Can you honestly believe any quality player is going to come to a club who appoints a manager who they hardly know or if they are known to play negative football,no chance. We need a top name ,proven manager with a CV to match, and for me its got to be someone like Benitez,Bielsa,Klopp to prove the club means business.
Agree 100%. Some young gun
Agree 100%. Some young gun who has had a good year or two will not cut it. Nor will some has-been old man like Twitcher.
No !
Nice bloke but we need someone with more experience and standing.
I would prefer anyone to replace Sam Allardyce to be honest anyone, but we need someone who can take the club forward and for me Monk is not that man, I would rather Allardyce was given a one year extension than taking someone on who could lose the dressing room within a few games saying that I am no professor in these matters and with some luck Monk could be brilliant I just think he is too fresh .
Me thinks they have there
Me thinks they have there manager already lined up and sorted out for next season. But who ?only they know.
Nice bloke!
I must have been watching a different person then!Every post match interview i have ever seen of him-he never says anything constructive about the opposing team. When we beat them 3-1 earlier in the season the man gave us absolute no credit at all,i attended this game & we were far better than them, but all he did was bleat on about sakho handling the ball before he scored!compare him to pellegrini who was very complimentary about the hammers when we beat them 2-1.Garry monk-no thanks, backward step imo...
Actually Hammers65 Pellegrini
Actually Hammers65 Pellegrini is a big name manager. I know that there is no chance of him coming to West Ham as a lot of clubs around Europe will be knocking on his door at the end of the season but we can give it a go .
However, can we really hope for something better than Moyes? I don't think so.
Gary Monk a young manager in with a decent squad he won't be tempted to come to us and I personally think it would be a massive gamble.
Roberto Martinez I would be
Roberto Martinez, I would be happy with this. Be a great fit for us, prem experience, plays good football & right profile!
