I'll take that draw... thought we played well against a superior team. Hart watched their first goal roll into the net but then made good saves after that. Chicos goal was well taken, looked defiant after scoring - not sure whether he was having a bit of a pop at the fans or board? As or the penalty shout on Arnie, I wish we had got it but to be fair did look like Kante got the ball. Overall good result

They always seem to have a great understanding, imo together rather than just the one up top they are our most viable option of scoring...

Thanks guys had a touch of montezuma's revenge too! Anyway another point picked up. If we can get cresswell fit or another cb for next week we may make ourselves safe with a win. Nothing is ever easy for us tho.

Their goal was schoolboy defending from us,though apart from that, chickpea up top with arnie is a no brainer for me..Hart had a blinder, hes owed us that & at the end we could/should have had a penalty!!A draw feels like a win = Happy Days...

Hart was the MOM for a change. Unlucky not to keep a clean sheet with some great saves.

This is what we need to see more of Chicarito with that great setup for that equaliser. Had a corner in the dying minutes and instead of trying to steal the three points, a big decision to try and just keep possession, that ended in giving the ball away cheaply, and almost had to pay the price for it on the counter attack.

Big game coming up against Stoke next weekend. Looking more optimistic with every game.

Its funny with G K saves if they were full hand acrobatic saves he would be back to being the media darlin but when their fingernail savessome how they dont tend to generate much interest

They may have passed the ball around and made some nice moves but that Chelsea team is in disarray, Conti is of ,and they rekon Hazard will also be gone and thats without the deadwood they have to get shot of ,they have the same problem we do some fukin ejitt thinks they know best who to buy ,Drinkwater ,Barkley even Gerrou wasnt a great buy ,doesnt suit their style of play i can see them in meltdown next year

The game was on at 1pm Monday here in Sydney, on Fox Sports. Had to suffer through the commentators on "Chelsea TV" -- believe me it was pretty hard to do. But that made it all the more sweet when we scored and then held them. Here are my highlights (not yet having read your posts):
1. Arnautovic was great. Should probably have first-timed that cross in the first half, just like the Southampton game; opportunity wasted there, but he grafted and tracked back (albeit he was part responsible for their soft goal), and he made that goal for Chicha. He was always about, showed plenty of intent and that way brought other players into the game. For me it was a definite penaly. Ask yourself if that call goes our way the other way round and you have all the answer you need.
2. Hart deserves all the props he's getting. He made three world class saves and played well the rest. Their goal was truly a soft one; can't say as I blame Hart, but it was strange after he made such a fabulous save to see that ball dribble into the back of the net.
3. Chicha's goal: EXACTLY what he is paid to do. Perfect strike, 1-1.
4. Declan Rice earned his stripes today. Every time he was tested he came up trumps, and he seems with each game to grow in confidence. We have a terrific new centre half on our hands.
5. A few others deserve mention: Arthur, Zabaleta, Ogbonna; Noble's second half was much better but his first half was poor. Fernandes was awful for me, and Creswell wasn't having a great game before the injury.

Overall, a fine performance, and a point that could make all the difference. WELL PLAYED YOU IRONS!

I was up at 1.00am Ashes...you gotta stop bogarting the dutchie...
- Arnie was a lost soul in the first half up there on his lonesome.
- Still can't do Hart, sloppy goal. Other saves were bread and butter for a half decent road sweeper
- Love Chicha. Needs more time in front of opposition goal...
- Rice earned his stripes yonks ago. Nothing left to prove at all. Next Bobby Moore...We need one !
- Gonna go Noble here. He is so good going forward yet stops, swivels a la Parker and get his knickers in a knot. Someone have a word in his shell...Cresser, well he got injured. The curse of the nouveaux footballers ankle or was it knee or perhaps something in-between. Effing poncey, thats all I know. Wasn't even in pain, just nouveaux pain.
Glad of a point but could've, should've been three

If Holland is fit, which I think he is. he should play. IMO a much better player. Not sure what happened to Mario yesterday, he was a non avent. But agree with all the above, thought Rice did really well.
