Those venerable purveyors of the truth, funded by Sky TV, Talksport, otherwise known as Talks***e by most fans, were very keen to upload the Premier League players who are most valuable. TS used 'data' from the CIES Football Observatory apparently using statistics to determine the most valuable player in every squad based on their estimated transfer value. All well and good, now we at the Org aren't sure of the value of other team's players, but we do have a pretty good idea of the value of most West Ham players, therefore it was with some incredulity that we noticed one or two 'glaring' absentees from the top 20.
Marko Arnautovic's well publicised stropp after missing out on his Chinagate deal will no doubt have diminished his value. especially given his woeful form since 'returning to the fold', but has he seriously dropped £21 Million in value as a result of all the shenanigans? As if that error was not enough, how about Felipe Anderson? One minute there is talk of David Sullivan promising the player that the club have just paid over £35 Million for that he can leave if an offer of over £65 Million is made for his services and yet Anderson doesn't even make the top 20, which again infers Anderson's value has 'suddenly' dipped by over £20 Million.
Although the list below does value Declan Rice at £69 Million, how on earth can both Arnautovic and Anderson be omitted from it? It is one thing to re-print data, it is another to actually read what you are reprinting! Judge for yourself....
