i know theres a lot of divided opinion about Pardew and this post is nothing to do with do we want him back or dont we ? just a thought , is he without question one of the most pleased people on the planet , i refer of course to Palace's lg standing , 12th with 42 as compared with Newcastle 5 or 6 below with 35 and in absolute melt down , i know they didn't sack him and that he left of his own free will but lets be honest the dogs on the streets new he was forced out , and like him or loave him he's made a bit of a difference out of them , i watched them the other night against shitty and thought they put up a good show , lovely passing movements especially in the final third, wonder do they have to go to Newcastle in the remaining three .
You can tell the season is almost up when these sort of unimportant , nondescript posts start .

Done a good job at Palace... so far. As far as smugness, he probably has few equals. There are some stories about some of the cobblers he came out with when he was with us.

Still got the mark on my leg from one of his tackles when he was at Dulwich Hamlet. He is wasn't smug then lol
Talented coach
Pardew has talent as a coach, no doubt about that, had us playing some decent football. Seems to upset people though, not sure about his long term man management, and whether the stories about the shenanigans when he managed us are true or not, he had certainly lost the dressing room (apparently too much time in the undressing room)
