Shame On Them-Diangana To 'Debag'!

Having only just recently published an article highlighting Hammers' recruitment issues and player retention, we find ourselves nonplussed by the proposed transfer of Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion for an initial fee as low as £12 Million! £12 Million for an England U-21 player who has already proven himself in the top flight is an absolute steal for Slaven Billic's Baggies, if anyone doubted how broke the Irons were then this transfer should focus their mind.

Fans have already been preparing themselves for the loss of Declan Rice, or Pablo Fornals and or Grady Diangana, inevitably there will be some 'trite' rolled out about how the player was seeking first team appearance guarantees that the manager couldn't and wouldn't give him, but the reality is one of Diangana, Fornals or Rice was always going to go and the 'perceived wisdom' was that selling hot prospect Diangana would have the least collateral fall out. £12 Million in wages is just about what the club have paid Jack Wilshere over the last couple of seasons, shame on the board for selling one of the club's prized assets, and shame on Pellegrini for leaving the club in such dire straights that it has to sell it's future!

And if a certain player feels a little bit guilty about the fact that in order to pay their wages a top talent has to be sold, then so be it, they should feel truly awful and consumed with guilt. - Ed

I'd rather see haller go for 5 million than diangana go for 12! The dildos get worse ( if that's possible) they paid 'world class' manager & his sidekick a kings ransom, bought the most expensive dud ever & now are selling diangana...they've got to sell up & sell up now

This act disgusts me as a fan.

I heard about it this morning from my lad who's 24 and was gutted when he told me. Grady has been at the club since he was 12 years old. He was the future and I was really looking forward to him shining for us this season. Our owners are shysters, disgusting individuals. The club is rotten through and through. They can shove this season up their arse. I don't give 2 fvcks anymore............

Oi big boy, what's your name?

I wholeheartedly agree with you boogers ,it wouldn't surprise me if they let Rice go for 10 mill + say, Barkley ,they might as well hold up the white flag cos this is goin to leave a mood of dependency over the whole club ,dont they realise we avoided the drop by the skin of our teeth

Boogers I'm with you. I cannot believe what tossers we have in control. the club is in peril of being washed down the bog if those in "control" believe that's the best they can do it's time for a change. For me, well I thought that Grady may be the one who could and would compliment Haller but that's gone down the pan. I for one give up, good luck lads and lassies as I now sign off for good. Always a Hammers fan...

that his transfer fee is 20 million disappointed again, was looking forward to him setting up Haller and bagging a few for himself .Can not see any one who is available and better for less than that amount what are the board thinking !!!!!!!

The only way these owners can reprieve themselves is by bringing Messi to West Ham. It has been nothing but sell in the transfer window, and now especially a young talented player who has come through the academy. Would have been more advantageous to have got relegated and then sold all the deadwood, by building with players like Diangana and the more talented youngsters!!
