Recently we have had a few new members join us, as new members aren't particularly aware of how 'heated' debate can be on the Org, I would ask that members 'gently' ease new members in and not be so hostile, after all they are Irons fans.

You bang on Nev ,we'll get the school prefects Dicksy ,Boogers and metbobby to take them under their wing ,prevent the six formers giving them to much of the old initiation torture ,but they've got to learn headmaster ,cant be all mamby pamby with them i remember when i was a first year ,nothing but lines,detention and several swift strocks of the cane ,which i must say wasn't completely un - enjoyable, anyway you new boys ,nuckle down and dont keep gawking over the fence at the girls school ,remember the penalty for non achievers, relegation

on here before about 3-4 years ago ,just changed my name ,used to be NorthHerts Hammer,but forgot my password etc thought it was time to return ,so i know the packdrill,about the time of fat sam then bilic,good to be back and seeing a lot of the same old faces etc

I have nothing against members being forceful in debate, but I cannot see the point in blowing new members out of the water, their fresh opinions can be very 'site' enhancing if they are left to develop.

My wife was the same when she saw my member for the first time. "What the fuck is that?!" She wailed in tears and laughter, pointing at my undercarriage.
But over time, with encouragement, shes learned to love it.
I say "it", Big Dave visits every Thursday and I'm banished from the house for 2 hours but after she's in a wonderful mood and everyone's happy.

I have been on here 5years 7months,its the only site i use,its good stuff,i prefer the lay out,and the banter,I know we are all Hammers fans,but feel that the majority of the members are of the same mind set here,running of the club,match day stuff,the BOM etc,even coming from the same areas,i know what you mean though Nev,we have had lately some lively posts,some may even say Spin Doctoring,or could of even been Jack Sullivan lol!!!!!!

Shame some of the old school aren't around. Man from Del Monte always managed to get a good debate going. Mrs Lucas Neil caused a bit of a scandal and Hammersfanno1 is doing the trolling on Twitter now. Billy Mac sadly passed away some time ago and there was a vicar too I believe from Aycliffe. Was some Australian fans on here and one can't forget Plaistow Hammer. Anyone I may have missed give us a wave.
