Antonio’s contract is due for re negotiation in Jan. It is rumored he is requesting a 5 year contract. Knowing his Constant hamstring Issues and that he has been out for 300+ days of injury, who here would give him a five year contract? We should assume he’s asking for $100k PW. I understand these are just rumors, and ‘hearsay’ but what seems a reasonable offer if YOU were in charge?

I would offer 3 years, With perhaps some sort of ‘pay per play’ after that.

This is based on hamstring tears never really heal and are prone to re tears. The reality and likelihood of him playing at 35 is unrealistic.

As we know he does tend to pick up an injury so if he can make his injuries more long term then he will keep our medical staff happy as they are missing Carroll and Wheelchair and have nothing to challenge them so give him a 5 year contract on 100k plus and appearance fee in the medical room keeps everyone happy that

Keep him at the club no matter what 100 grand these days is fuck all ,its a chance we've got to take unlike wheelchair & Carroll ,its beginning to look like the present team is built around him ,so important to get an understudy in ,Haller is about as useful as an ash tray on a motorbike

Would you be for Josh King in Jan ? I have to say I would try and start some kind of partnership with Siad and Haller as Antonio will be our .. it’s a given. A new boy coming in may be a spark Haller needs. Someone that can constantly put balls in to him.

We must not let Antonio go at any cost, give him an extended contract, and more money,i know he has had injuries, but i wouldnt put him in the same league as Carroll and Wiltshire, this fella is a Trojan Work Horse,he will always get up and get going.

If he can stay fit enough to play an acceptable number of games during the 3 years then he could earn a possible extension of 1-2 years maybe? He's worth £100k per week compared to others, puts in a shift and gets goals. I think he has done enough to earn an England call up personally, not a finese typical forward but a great alternative option to throw on when it's not going your way?

I remember him getting his last contract and he was crap for the next season afterwards, bearing in mind that he's injury prone i think west ham would be daft to offer him too much.
Josh King would be a decent shout, Ollie Watkins was the best choice though, should've gone for him i think.
