I was at the game yesterday. I thought we looked ok for much of the time. I was surprised that we managed to unlock their defence for the first goal, I thought their defence was one of the strongest I have seen in years and Tim Howard is still class particularly coming off the line to take crosses which is a major weakness of Adrian. as for the rest, Everton bossed the possession and were always going to score and the closer it got to ninety mins the inevitable was always going to happen with typical West Ham lack of seeing out a game. Surprised that Chiken Kev didnt get a chance, I guess he will have the lead role against his mates the Bar Codes. Seems odd given Cant ConCole was given a special send off.
