For a good few weeks. Sam has said he got kicked on the same knee that he has had trouble with already this season. So back to Val and Sakho up front which is good news .

Last Sunday showed us that we should fear no one home or away, let's take the game to them and go for all three points

With Cole starting I hope he puts in 110 %, he know he's not 1st choice anymore, so he'll want to tick a few box's tonight especially with us doing well in the cup...COYI's

Nothing surprises me anymore with the ineptitude of the manager Nev. WTF was CC doing as a starter for starters...Let's hope he goes to Villa. I could live with Teddy looking after matters til the Summer if he has his coaching tickets, which I'm sure he has. We aren't going down so why not get shot of him ASAP

Unsure if he had a little knock... or was trying to save him for the Cup a bit... Just playing Devil's Advocate! lol

A great point considering, but am I the only one who feels Adrian was bundled over? I admit he was stupid and should have just lumped the ball up the pitch!

Will have to find out more about this one, but it looks like a point is a good result after going to ten men and losing our goalkeeper. A very brief look at saves suggests that Jussi did what he needed to do after coming on, and THEN some! Good thing we have a quality keeper in reserve!!!

Couldn't watch the second half, but sounds like a very good point considering we only had 9 1/2 men with Carroll hobbling badly.

Good result considering the red card, which wasn't a red, and we can kick on to our next match in the cup. Thought we played ok but not great. Set up defensively and looked to try and stifle Soton and maybe hit them on break. Disappointed to see Carroll injured (again!!!) but as long as Sakho and Val stay fit it shouldn't affect us too much. Good point and thought we defended well when down to ten men. Could have done with the baggies losing though as they need to concentrate on their league position over the cup.

yes NT we could do without Berahino and Ideye to have formed a good partnership before the cup game even Fletcher had a good game last night

I know mate. A loss would have piled the pressure on the Baggies and Pulis would have rested a few key players IMO. He still might, but he also may want to keep the momentum going and keep a winning team and style. Pulis doing what he does best and organising his teams. It won't be easy this Saturday but I think we will get through in the end!

In the circumstances, it was a very good point. I thought that Southampton were poor and we looked tired.Adrian was stupid to try and dribble the ball but was also fouled by Mane.Carroll out for 2 weeks but Sakho and Valencia fit for West Brom. Wembley here we come.
