Ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham at the London Stadium, visitors Liverpool find themselves bereft of 'proper' centre backs, the situation is so acute that Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the League Champions are looking for a short term loan to help plug the gap until their influential players return to fitness.
One surprise name to have been mooted is none other than Hammer, Winston Reid. Reid returned form his loan spell in America a few weeks ago and has quietly been training with the rest of the squad in a bid to show that he has returned to full fitness, the Kiwi captain is contracted to West Ham until June 2023 on a £75,000 per week wage.
While the Irons are well stocked in central defence with Angello Ogbonna, Craig Dawson, Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena, all vying for places, the opposite has to be said for Liverpool, so a loan deal might suit all parties. Reid's wages have been the stumbling block for moving him on, but given the circumstances he could be a 'cheap fix' for Liverpool.
Of course there are some who would ask, "why loan one of our players to a 'direct competitor for a European Cup slot?" - Ed

Saw a cracking little montage the other day of Benny's box of tricks...the more he does it the better he is gonna get, even though he gets a little bit greedy...brilliant signing along with Soucek and Coufal and lets not forget Bowen and Sir Les...not too sure about the beg Jesse but time will tell I guess
Anyone reckon my $50 bet with a Dipper was a silly move? I have faith, especially after our comeback win this week...COYI

The Liverpool Back Four
Let ‘s hope Antonio and Benny can run the depleted Liverpool defence ragged. Unlike our previous centre forward.
