Three Wheels On The 'Ham Wagon'

The end of Hammers 3-2 win over Leicester City was like the Alamo, again!what is it with West Ham? Are the club secretly trying to kill off a large amount of fans with suspect hearts? There can be no other explanation as to why a hugely over achieving team can go in to matches devoid of their best players,  and then race to a three goals a game advantage and then have to battle through the rest of the game to survive!

Somehow and somewhere, the team spirit David Moyes has instilled in his players, helped in not a small way by Jesse Lingard, just seems to keep on grinding out results, just like 'elite' teams do. Aaron Cresswell and Mar Noble were both added to the worryingly long injury list during the game, but the band wagon keeps on rolling on, despite only having three wheels left.

Despite the brilliant result, it will still be incredibly difficult for the Irons to maintain fourth spot, but at least they have given it a real go, and perhaps fans might like to think about how they support their team as the club moves forward, and how they can make the ground, their club have achieved the 2nd best results of any other Barclays Premier League club so far, a happier place to be.

As the wonderful Darren Harry says, "button up butter cups, and enjoy the ride". - Ed

Definately could have done without that stress at 1am before going to bed. Was cruising until their first went in and then we were like rabbits in headlights. Longest 20 mins since....well last week agst Wolves!!

Or the week before V the Gooners....I'm only stating the obvious and have tin hat on ready, but I reckon we have great first halves as Jesse sets it alight, sadly he misfires in the next 45 minutes and goes missing. Anyone else notice it or have I got it all wrong...maybe that's why manure don't want him. If he's happy to to 45 mins work per week, hey ho lets go...I hope we stuff the Geordies by a hatful next and get the band back together fully for a good old beat up of the rent boys.
Loving being fourth and loving the optimism of reaching third in a couple of weeks...COYI

The whole team not just Jesse have faded in the last 20 minutes against Arsenal, Wolves and now Leicester. When you play the type of fast counter attacking football that we play the inevitable happens and you run out of steam. Injuries have limited us a little as well so limited on substitutions and we do miss Ogbona in the centre of defence. Diop is ok but not as quick as Ogbona is to see the danger and cut out a cross coming in or block a shot. If he had been playing we may have beaten Arsenal and conceded less goals in all three matches.
Still great for the neutral but not for me as my poor ticker struggles when we are holding on last 20 minutes.

We have suffered a lot in the last 20 minutes of the last three games. I think playing this type of football and with injuries makes you feel a little tired and not very lucid. The work done so far is exceptional, no one would have expected to be there fighting for 4th place. Now, until the end of the championship it will be even more difficult, the guys will have to make a further big effort, but whatever happens we must be proud of what they have done. COYI

I think we just have to go with the flow until Ogbona comes back (rumour mill Newsnow, says he might like Rice, be back for the run in during May). Lets hope so because we could on paper win all the games during May with these two playing.
