One of the few remaining viable players available to fill Hammers gaping striker gap, has joined the other 'nearly signings' that Hammers have 'missed out' on, as Danny Ings is announced as Aston Villa's latest signing. Ings does have a poor injury record, which will be the reason West Ham will officially release as to why their interest wasn't peeked.
Ings wanted to leave Southampton to secure a place in a champions league club or one that was at least competing in Europe in some form or other, well Villa can offer neither, West Ham could have! Obviously Villa are banking on their £100 Million windfall that they are about to receive from the sale of Jack Grealish to bankroll their activities.
What would you rather have going into the new Barclays Premier League season, Declan Rice or £100 Million? - Ed

With them 2 pricks at the
With them 2 pricks at the helm Declan Rice. Though he will be going in a few windows time. Just a shame all the good work of last season with a wafer thin squad will be undone by them penny pinching pricks.
We are absolutely on our knees for a striker. It's now getting embarrassing. I will be turning down the club soon and i'm 52 with a pacemaker! Things just don't make sense. They are happy to pay £24m for Zouma (maybe because they know he don't want to come) but are haggling for this Serbian at Fiorentina who is half the price.
Would like to think we will add a proven striker, centre back & midfielder before Newcastle. Also make Coufal happy and give him what he deserves.

No Ings, and not surprising
No Ings, and not surprising that someone like Villa can even beat West Ham in the transfer market, You would think that Ings would love to have some game time in Europe.
Hence, now it looks like Bournemouth's Arnaut Danjuma is on the West Ham's radar. That is the Pro, as he has really impressed for them last season.
The Con is that Liverpool are also looking to try and snap him up.
Errr..... not holding my breath in this respect.
Sorry
i don’t blame good players for turning us down,i am afraid we will be back in the relegation fight this coming season, thanx too the 3 stooges
Ings
Shame. I think he would have been good for us. That said, the only poor ineffectual game he had last season was against us!
Rice or £100 Million?
Good question. Rice or a 25-30 goal a season striker?
