Motherwell have adopted our little ditty recently and I was wondering where did it all begin and what association do we have a song made famous by four mop headed blokes from Liverpool .... can anyone enlighten me?

Woman in the East Stand Lower

Always makes me laugh as she instigates it and bloody loves it! She loses her voice at times during the tune but never gives up!

It was at an away match in Liverpool mid 1970's when I first heard it and we were being taken to the Cleaners. Our fans started singing it and dancing the twist, it was very funny even if the result was not!
