2x3-2 Wins Versus Top 2-Cost=2 Centre Backs
So there we have it, Kurt Zouma will be out injured for a bare minimum of six weeks after the results of a scan were revealed, he could be unavailable for up to THREE months following the injury he picked up in the thrilling 3-2 victory over the then Premier League leaders! Zouma's injury of course was preceded by the season ending injury fellow centre back Angelo Ogbonna sustained in the equally enthralling 3-2 victory over current Premier League leaders Liverpool!
If losing centre backs is the price that the club has to pay then there may be trouble ahead, only Issa Diop and 'Les Dawson' are now left as 'recognised' centre backs, so David Moyes will HAVE to promote from within in order to make up the numbers ahead of the January window opening.
Fortunately there are a raft of young talented players coming through the ranks, fate has dictated that one or two of them will get their chance, it is up to the youngsters to grab their opportunity. LN

Points on the board for me
Currently, we still have options and a great under 23 squad to fall back up.
true but..
.. In todays football the gulf between under 23s and The Premier League is huge hence the big clubs have little interest in the success of under 23s and prefer the up and coming kids playing in the Chumps league or, better still, the Prem with the lower echelons.
Does anyone remember the old days?
When we played with just ONE centre back?
Yep
and we used to get turned over most of the time :o)
In the Moyesaih we trust!!!
Also
Won 2 FA Cups and a European Cup Winners Cup too. Think we got to the finals of ECWC with one CB as well.
Not sure about the one CB
1980 we had Alvin and Billy in the middle at CB, 1975 was Lock and Taylor and 65 was Moore and I think Burkett although Brown wore 5 was much more a right back from memory... I think.
Moore, Lock and Bonds
CB's? Don't make me larf
