Transfer Dreams Fade & Die!

Don't wait up children go to bed because there's nothing to see here, Hammers spectacularly underwhelming transfer window ground to a halt this evening with not so much as a whimper, whereas most oPremier League clubs have managed to get their deals over the line, particularly arch rivals and direct Champions League competitors Tottingham.

Whichever way you look at it and whatever spin you put on it, the last 31 DAYS have been disastrous for the club's top six prospects, never mind the top four slot that was once seemingly attainable. Apart from the obvious effect on results between now and the end of the season as a result of not having strengthened the squad, the lack of transfer activity sends out entirely the WRONG message to Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen as to the club's intent moving forward.

The implication is that Hammers could risk LOSING their best players, just to save a few quid during this window, if that's not the reason then the sheer ineptitude of the club's transfer policies must be called into question! We would dearly like to publish this article and then be made to look stupid as a result of the club making a 'last minute' signing, 'umble pie would never taste so sweet!

Hammers transfers? Just like our Dreams, they fade and Die! - Ed

Bang on the money Nev ,it beggars belief not so much as a beep out of them ,even if they bought in a new tea lady, sends out all the wrong signals to our best players ,what has Moyes been doin all this time ?i thought our squad was wafer thin ,looks like the dildo brothers have reverted to their old ways ,tight arses

Not only disastrous for our top six prospects but we are in a fabulous position in the Europa league to push on and have a go at winning it. To not strengthen the squad when we’re a couple of injuries away from throwing everything good away this season is simply playing Russian roulette. Imagine winning it, maybe players would be knocking at the door in the summer to play for us, mind you , like this transfer window it’s laughable offering big transfer fees and backing that up with £1000 a week wages and wondering why no one signs

Agree with all the other comments, its been a disasterous window. How can Moyes give assurances to Rice and Bowen that big investment will be made in the summer when they fail to keep the promises of a centre back and striker this window, when the team couldn't be any more desperate. Moyes has been moaning that he won't bring anybody in unless they can strengthen the team but that argument is wearing a little thin when he has had 2 years to bring in a striker

Moyes states he will not buy anyone who can't improve the team. Anyone is better than Dawson or Diop! So why was Nat Phillips allowed to go to Bournemouth on loan?
Sure as Night follows day Antonio will sustain a long term injury. Zouma will get crocked and we are in the crapper.
Moyes should have blooded some of the youngsters earlier. Get them ready for battle earlier. Someone is at fault and needs to be brought to task. All the good work undone. No way are we finishing in the top 8. God forbid we draw Barcelona now in the Europa.
This window could set us back 5 years. But we can certainly say goodbye to Dec & possibly Bowen unless Danny can persuade Dani to tell him to stay.

When I was five and I was given two Bob I couldn’t wait to get to the sweet shop and buy any rubbish until my money was spent. Now I only part with my money after careful consideration.
Same with Moyes. Just because we need a striker that doesn’t mean we should pay over inflated prices for someone else’s cast offs. If there is quality out there, buy, if not keep your powder Dry.
Don’t be surprised if we see him placing grater faith in the youngsters going forward and we can buy quality in the Summer.
Rant over enjoy the day.

Problem with that Jozi is every other club will be chasing those as well....right now we are the feel good factor in the top half of the league a club going forward an exciting place to be but now we look like once more to be a team without direction and with those around us strengthening what will be the excuse when we fall down the table? i hope i am proved wrong but sadly i do not think i will be and what was a marvelous opportunity has now passed us by and come the summer we will be down the list of clubs looking to buy Quality and if the barcodes stay up well we all no that will be another club ahead of us....chelski/gooners/spuds will be ahead of us for players wanting to play in London and then like i just mentioned the huge payday the barcodes can offer...a poor show mr Moyes a poor show indeed.

Agree nat Phillips to Bournemouth? Even Ericksen to Brentford? Poor bloke had a cardiac arrest but a great player on his day...luckily we have Benny coming back now but the old chestnut - a striker is going to bite us on the arse imo...hope the season doesn't fall apart because we know for sure that Rice & Bowen will be offski

Thats now 3 transfer windows since Haller left and still no replacement.

Shambles and no ambition.

Daniel KRETINsky, no sign of investment but thats nothing new based on his track record. Pure smoke and mirrors, they give my a*** a toothache!

I think the interesting point here is Moyes. How much was Moyes beaten back by the Dildos, Lady Buttplug and the Kretin?

It's easy to point the finger at Moyes. But for all we know. he was pulling his hair out aswell? It seems the dildos have a habit of saying they've made offers here and there. But how much of this is just there bullshit??
