Irons Still Keane On Lewis-Potter

Not only can West Ham offer Keane Lewis-Potter a route one entry to top flight football, but they can also guarantee the Hull starlet European Football, albeit in the Euro Conference League. Lewis-Pottter and his advisors will have watched Jarrod Bowen's imperious rise through the ranks to become an England International, a feat he would probably not have achieved if he had signed for one of the Big Four English teams, and thought "we want some of that!".

Interest in the 21-year-old is very high, as Lewis-Potter enjoyed a really productive 2021/22 season during which he scored 13 goals in 47 appearances. A number of clubs have been watching the player, with some including Brentford and Watford already mooted to have tables bids which have apparently been knocked back.

Wolves are also said to have been showing interest in the player, but it’s West Ham who are currently leading the race for the promising youngster's signature. The Irons’ interest in the player is long standing, David Moyes and Rob Newman are hoping to tie up a deal in the next seven days for the exciting talent who won Hull’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year for 2021/22.

The only fly in the ointment, apart from the usual 'interest' now being shown by Newcastle and it's board of stone throwers that they show in just about EVERY potential Hammers signing, is the final price. Having seen how much Bowen is now worth, the chairman of Hull City is determined to get top dollar for his club's most valuable asset. He is obviously forgetting that for every Jarrod Bowen there is a Jordan Hugill or Romelu Lukaku outcome, just waiting to happen!

Should Hammers be pursuing Keane Lewis-Potter with vigour? Most certainly yes, should they get involved in a bidding was with the Toon? Most certainly NO! - Ed

it has got to be up to the player himself surely he has the final say on who he plays for, in spite of pressure from agents and so called advisors ,they must be surely in this day and age be in charge of their own Destiney

I was very keen on that lady back in the day a classy little number with the hint of the devil about her that we men like! but just when i thought yes i got her some prick with a XR3i snatched her from under my nose and austin allegro!.....so we had better be on our toes if the barcode rumour is not just that a rumour to inflate the price...otherwise we could have a Jackie Riley scenario on our hands!

You cant say really, because Bowen came from Hull and was a success, dosent mean all from Hull are superstars in the make,Nev rightly states there will be plenty of Hugills out there, thats why i am hoping about Lingard,he is definitely proven,England International to boot, and we know he fitted into this club a treat,he is still a Man U player till the end of June,so hopefully will see some action coming our way then........Forgot to mention and hes free.

Pay him 200k a week on a four year contract comes to 38 million, free to walk through the door makes it cheap for a player of his calibre, nothing to pay only his wages......You wont get a better deal than that,if this cant be seen and we cant attract players like him, then all we will get are Haller spin offs and will never push on to anything higher.

On lingard...he was brilliant at first for us & if he could produce the same it's a no brainer! But did nothing in the last few games & imo if he's rotting on the bench at manure then he should be jumping through hoops to sign for a club he knows well! 'If' he's holding out for mega money then I'd call his bluff " this is what we are prepared to pay, take it or continue to remove them splinters from your arse!!"

Andy Carroll and Yarmolenko are dross compared to Lingard, and were before they came to us,flat footed Mules,Lingard is an England International, and will get regularly picked with game time,Man U are so mis managed,is why Lingard wasnt picked or played to his potential, thats why players are leaving and not one wants to go there.

Lingard is quality, still say one of the best players ever to pull on our shirt, hope he joins.

I think he would be a great addition. Moyes seems to have a way. I would like to see Eriksen come on a free also. 3 attacking midfielders Lewis Potter, Eriksen & Bowen. Add a quality & proven Striker to that & we could be in business. Imagine a strong, fit & fast Antonio coming off the bench for the final 20 minutes.
Disapointing that we have not still tied up Areola considering we had all of last season to work something out.

Buttttt Moyes does not and if they were to pay that man the money he wants they are fools this is one deal the board should tell Moyes no...look at Carroll look at Wheelchair look at Ljunberg all overpaid and injury prone on huge wages we could not shift.......he will be another Arnie with his brother and an Aubameyang at the gooners put on a big wage then couldn't give a shit...Arteta did gooners a favour moving him on.....So Lingard for me is a thanks but no thanks
