Well its good to see our injury curse is alive and running and now they are talking about Oggy starting against Citeh...they have been quite rightly managing his recovery from such a major injury now they want to rush him back with barely any game time preseason i see problems afoot...guess we shall see with our last friendly this weekend to come.

Apparently he has had problem before so that had been looked into before we splashed the cash.....Oggy just coming back from long term injury cannot possibly be ready to start against Citeh Dawson has family problems which are far more important than football and so that leaves Diop who we have been trying to offload all summer and Zouma who surely has an injury of some kind the way he has been slothing about preseason so all in all i think we could be seeing Johnson and Cressy as our centrebacks against Citeh!

I really think these injuries nowadays are all down to the boots the modern players wear because they are so lightweight they offer little if know protection at all.

I don't think you need to make it up. It happens so bloody often the player himself is probably told when he signs. "now lad, it's great you're here and we expect big things, but first you'll need a trip to the medical team, maybe an op at the local hospital, so head out onto the pitch and get stuck in"

My great Grandson also a West Ham fan always says that if you hear or read the words Knock in training be prepared for the player to be out for a good while this knock though was the players own doing sadly but these things happen and little you can do about it

It always seems to happen to our main players not players on the periphery like Benni or Vlasic etc....not that i want any injured but you get what i mean
