Orange you have all seen it our third strip is white with an Orange flare across the shirt apparently the reason for that is to pay homage to the Thames Ironworks and the orange sparks that were created during there arduous work.
Marketing people have to make stuff up like that to try and sell a pig of an item.ORANGE really Orange i know i am younger than a lot on here but can anyone tell me when did We ever have a shirt that was Orange home or away? When i purchase something West Ham related to wear it is with the traditional colours and no Burkie i am not answering the thought that just came to your mind there lol.Seriously though unless the club is now being sponsored by Terrys where the hell do we get that colour from.
Before a few seasons ago we
Before a few seasons ago we never wore black or purple either but there you go, I like the home shirt (though could be better) the other two are a no from me personally.
It is the way of the Modern world
i Have a couple of West Ham Cups for my daily cuppa both Blue with Claret Writing they have served me well for many many years but todays world Clubs have to make money hence all these strips they recycle and now a third with any colour you wish youngsters may purchase the one you mention not as a football shirt but just a shirt that they like the colours of but for me and as you said yourself young lady Orange that is never West Ham no matter how they try and market it.
The Identity has gone
Clubs no longer wear foootball colours but are now just a fashion accessory withe new strips being bought out every year to keep up with modern "fashion". I, personally have only bought two shirts since the godawful idea of allowing advertising on the chest and those two were bought just because they were shirts for a reason (Dagenham Motors anniversary shirt and the Final Boleyn one). West Ham haven't had decent shirts since the late 60's (Bukta I believe) claret shirt with sky blue sleeves and the away sky blue with two claret hoops shirt, no logos and third strip not even thought about. Just my opinion but the old ground has gone, the badge has changed and now the colours are going. The Identity is slowly going
Not just your opinion deluded
The identity has certainly gone & pretty unrecognisable to a lot of us old school fans
Flaming Orange
West Hams new third kit looks like a carbuncle.
Perhaps West Ham are trying to sell the fewest 3rd kit replicas in the history of the Prem??
Its Shit
And has nothing to do with our club in anyway whatsoever
