Just wondering how you all rate the transfer window and the reaction by what Moyes is saying. I saw the interview and was surprised that he stated he wants to have players that will allow him to change things when needed. He even admitted that he was surprised that Pak man actually signed for us.
My rating for the window is 9 out of 10, I would have rated it a 10 if we had another striker but now Ant has to raise his game as he got his wish of someone to push him in Scamacca. For me the buy of the season for us could be Kehrer, it was a rough start giving the free kick away and then the own goal but he really excites me, his passing and speed looks fantastic. Let’s hear some views.
Been a great window
2 pints, scam,Cornet all quality players...Will moyes get the best out of them? Kehrer like others have stated is going to be great for us,also would like to see more of downes,I'm no fan of the dildos but top money has been paid & credit to them & the Kretin!!
Downes will get his chance mate
but even he said he is not up to scratch yet, give him a bit of time training with Decs to watch what he does and he will improve.
Will only be a great window
If Moyes does change the way we play and i do not think he can
IMO its been a good window
IMO its been a good window, perhaps we have been a bit harsh on Moyes,as he is filtering the new players in slowly i know, but they are showing signs of quality,Kehrer is solid,Alpaca im looking forward to see the outcome of him, after just 10 minutes on showed us alot of his capabilities, and Scammaca is no Haller,im with 65 on Downes i would really like to see him flourish.
Spent enough
But whether its been spent wisely is another problem. Kehrer loooks good, Cornet puzzles me, Downes looks like being another Hugill ( not going to get playing time). Big problem for me is Scamacca. I personally think we have another Haller. Great goalscorer but Moyes is not going to pay to his strengths. Did far too many defensive duties in his last game and therefore was out of position for the attacks. Time will tell but going by the amount of money spent, we can't blame the owners this time if it goes pear shaped. You reading this Moyes?
