Moyes Doesn't Want To Be In Top 6!

Having finished in the top six in the previous season and top seven in the last, David Moyes had his sights set on confirming the club's 'best of the rest' status this season, unfortunately instead of being in the top six of the Premier League he finds himself in a rather different top six, one which he would far rather be disassociated with, the tops six in the next manager to be sacked race!

David Moyes is currently actually FIFTH on the list, only Brendan Rodgers, Ralph Hasenhuttl, Steve Cooper and Bruno Lage are ahead of him on the chopping board! Hammers loss of form is NOT dramatic, it is a hang over from the end of last season that has not seen the 'hair of the dog' as yet, Moyes does actually look worried, and so he should be.

Having managed in excess of a staggering 1,000 games Moyes knows all about what a results driven game it is, had he not had such a huge amount of experience he would already have been dismissed from his role as West Ham manager, but there is a belief he CAN turn things around, but his time definitely IS running out.

A couple of wins and a draw with a defeat or two thrown in will probably be enough to earn 'Moysie' a reprieve, but even if he does hold on to his job, the likely hood of the Scot being at the helm next season is highly unlikely as Daniel Kretinsky's influence is felt more and more ahead of the departure of Messrs Gold and Sullivan once they are able to purchase the Queen Elizabeth Stadium at Stratford without having to pay ANY money back as a premium!

Expect the 'Kretin in the Sky' to install a 'trendy' young manager like Thomas Frank in the not too distant future. Here are the current sack race odds (not sponsored) :

Brendan Rodgers 1/1 Ralph Hasenhuttl 2/1 Steve Cooper 6/1 Bruno Lage 8/1 David Moyes 10/1 Steven Gerrard 12/1 Antonio Conte 20/1Frank Lampard 25/1 Jesse Marsh 25/1 Jurgen Klopp 25/1 Roberto De Zerbi 25/1 Marco Silva 33/1 Erik ten Hag 33/1 Graham Potter 33/1 Patrick Vieira 40/1 Eddie Howe 40/1Thomas Frank 50/1 Mikel Arteta 80/1 Pep Guardiola 150/1, No Manager To Leave 200/1
