Agreed. The players are low on confidence, especially Paqueta and Scamacca, their game play and effort says it all because they cannot buy into Moyes’ style of play. As professionals, on a fortune you would expect more from them but the entire team is underperforming . When the entire team, not just one or two players stop giving their best game after game it tells you he has lost the dressing room.
Moyes is the oldest manager in the premiership and it really shows now in the game play and tactics. He is a one trick pony, one style of play, played the same at Everton , always one up front. He is just not tactically adept enough to change the system and play to players strengths , opposition teams have now worked out how to play against us.
This will only get worse sticking with Moyes ,hope the board act now otherwise it could end up a disasterous season. Some fans feel there is nobody out there to come in and do a better job , well consider these 10 out of work managers that would welcome the challenge of managing us.

Paqueta and scammaca are new to prem league. Do u expect miracles? One trick pony now but last season a good manager,? Paqueta should've scored at least once today. He had the chances but fluffed his lines. That down to Moyes is it?

Absolute crap,we were all over them and couldnt score, and was never likely to either,if we kept playing for the next 2 weeks, final third has always been the problem........Drastic changes needed im afraid,we have been found out with our style of play,we cant drag out a win like the Spuds,we cant even score, total shit, someones head has to roll over this.......Alot of the subservient views are from those that dont attend games, get there and see the shit that is offered, and feel the atmosphere, perhaps you will see it in a different perspective.......Come Back 65 You are better than one prick,i wont give up either.

Someone who goes round calling other posters 'prick' ? I get ego plays a big part on here but the general dissing people get away with because they might be 'long term' users is ott. Everyone has an opinion, but some here think being here long term means theirs is the be all end all! Why they are so insecure that they can't tolerate a differing view is the real question!

post match interview!
So after two and a half seasons (well he was half a season short there), we should all stick together.
This was his response to fans leaving in their droves after the second goal.
Why aren’t we pushing on with all the improvement?

Let's be fair though. As rice says, look at the overall work. Top 7 two seasons in a row, now some quality players added to squad. It's not gone well this season, he admits that, but he can't win. If he doesn't play scammaca, behnrama, downes, paqueta people say he's useless. If he plays them and they don't perform people say he's useless.

I thought we played pretty well. We had chances, but it's a fine line in the prem. Getting rid now as many in the know say would be folly. Moyes bought players, a new man means he'd want another change around. For those who believe it's a simple get rid, get better in must have short memories.

Moyes isn't klopp. But he's hard working, and he's experienced. He knows the squad and he knows prem league football. Sticking with him and giving him time to turn it is what's required imo. No one will be more determined to prove the doubters than him. I for one have faith. The likes of Bowen, downes, rice, behnrama, zouma, aguerd, paqueta, scammaca are good players and wouldn't even be here if not for Moyes. It's always hard to keep pushing on, expectation rises and people forget the only just gone past. Rogers, Gerrard, struggled with it. Frank was stuck by last season as they struggled. Let's not go back to the hiring and firing days, it got us nowhere.

One thing still missing in West Ham's game that exposes them to ALL the teams. It is called pace. Why do our players seem so lethargic when going up front with the ball? Just Rice seems to be the one trying to instil some kind of zip. Yet it ends up going backwards and sidewards too often resulting in the opposition's defence getting organized and crowding out the box. Then for two weeks in a row West Ham got spanked in counter offensive moves. Have to get Downes to start and rest the likes of Soucek. Scamacca is just not firing on any cylinders at the moment. Bowen has gone off the boil, hence his exclusion from the England squad. The defence is very untidy at the moment with Dawson being lucky to stay on the pitch after that rash tackle to gift a penalty. But then again both defenders got caught out with Aguerd guilty of the second goal. Hopefully, he will be back up to speed after the World Cup break. But last season West Ham's defence was rock solid until Ogbonna went on a long term injury. He seems to be back to speed in the manner he even dominated the midfield against the Belgian side in the Conference League. All will depend on how West Ham performs in the Boxing Day fixture against Arsenal. Think Moyes head will be on the chopping block if West Ham is in the drop zone at the beginning of the New Year!!

You look at Brighton with their high press. They never let teams settle on the ball. Arsenal play at 90 miles an hour. Even Man U have upped their fitness levels after a poor start.
Our boys are playing in fits and starts, the energy levels seem very low. Not sure if this is related to Pierce leaving but they look lethargic.

OK, call me old fashioned. But I think Pacequta is upsetting the balance a little. Can't put my finger on it, but he looks frustrated to me.

If these new acquisitions are as much quality as they've been made out to be. I've never heard of any of them except Cornet before and he didn't exactly set my heart racing when I heard the news. Smacks to me of panic purchases once it became clear Moyes wasn't going to get his love child, Lingard

Ive been thinking it for a while, they are crap, and yes we were left with what you see each week, because of the lingard draw out.

Its fair to say that none of the newbees are pulling up trees or making a difference or as I like to put it ... Game changers.

Its still early days but its very worrying. jokes aside about Lingard but he made a massive impression in his time with us. It doesnt help that our established players are well of the boil at the moment. Something needs to change very soon and i sure the board will not be willing to bring in more players.... worrying times :o(

I think it just comes down to number's. Play 2 up fromt. Scamacca & Antonio would frighten the life out of most. Paqueta pulling the strings behind. Then Benharama and Bowen on the flanks. Mouth watering. Apparently Moyes wants another striker? Pointless if you will have 2 on the bench.
With Moyes being a defensive minded coach. There is that old saying. Best form of defence is attack!

Good in theory but if you play Antonio Scamaka and Paquetta then one of Bowen or Benny have to sit out. Unless you play Rice in a back five. Hmm?
