'Will' Moyes 'Still' Be Standing?

French outfit Stade de Reims' manager Will Still revealed that it is his dream to manage boyhood club West Ham United in the future, the highly sought after manager's team remains unbeaten in the league since he took over from Óscar García on 13th October. The Belgian-English manager oversaw a five-game unbeaten run at the club before being handed the role until the end of the season. Reims are now unbeaten in 16 games, which is a record dating back to 1959.

Having risen rapidly through the ranks in Belgium and then at Reims, the 30-year-old manager, who claims to have learned his craft on Football Manager, revealed that he was a West Ham fan in a recent interview. Naturally, Still dreams of one day managing his boyhood club and the club's recent free fall must have alerted him!

“I’ve never set any boundaries or set any goals or any limits to what I want to do and can do. In a boring way, I’ll take whatever my career chucks at me, but if I’m being a little kid, I’d probably say coaching West Ham one day [is my ambition]. Being a West Ham fan, that would be unreal. It’s a shame it’s not at Upton Park any more, but the Olympic Stadium has something about it too, So coaching West Ham, winning the Champions League, winning a major trophy, that would be unbelievable. But there’s a bit of a way to go before I get there, so [I’ll] keep working.”
Appointing Still would be a bold left field action, but he would be a breath of fresh air that would surely enliven a 'mordent' dressing room that current manager David Moyes has clearly lost for some time! Still is only 30 years old and doesn't even have ALL the badges required to be a full time coach, in fact Reims get fined £22,000 per match that he manages because of his lack of paperwork, however the fiscal consequences of a club like West Ham getting relegated are so huge that 22K per game is chicken feed!

The other runners and riders in the 'replace Moyes' race are either not willing to come to the club or are insisting on lenghty contracts, they are also ALL old! IF the club can somehow work out a deal with Still and Reims it could be the magic solution to what is an increasingly desperate situation, relegation is unthinkable and apart from the financial cost would put the club back years and years.

Even if we loose to forest he wont be sacked, there is something fishy going on at board level , the only manager in the bottom 6 not to get the gooner ,as i said before I'm hoping for a forest win, wel' ll see then whats going on if we loose and they dont sack him then there's definitely an act of deliberate sabotage afoot .

Can't be wanting a Forest win surely. Moyes has clearly lost the plot, the dressing room and the fans, but at the end of the day, we stay up, Sully sells and fucks off, new owners, new manager and a way forward which we've been missing under the current ownership.

I know Moore, it sounds treacherous but its the only way we stay up sounds crazy i know but be under no illusions if Moyes remains at the club we are goin south .its simple, if we win they won't move ,he'll take us into football oblivion , if we loose and they dont get rid then im afraid a lot of the rumours may be true, and the board are complicit in this ,in other words they have another agenda ,to pocket the tv cash the prem pays to relegated clubs and fuck of .
I know it sounds a bit paranoid but what other explanation is there ?.

I reckon Sully's eyes were ignited by pound signs the last couple of years and he can't believe the way it's gone this season. After Moyes saved us from relegation then took us on a tour of Europe for a couple of years, Sully must have though his last splash of cash was gonna guarantee him a sale price close to several hundred million and he's hoping Moyes can pull one last rabbit out of the hat and get him that Golden goose. Of course Moyes penchant for a small squad runs against the grain of our injury curse and once again we've suffered alarmingly there culminating, along with a dire loss of form in yet another relegation scrap. Sully is too scared to pull the lever on his Moygician

He wont be sacked, and we dont want Rafa Benitez, the thing is i dont think anyone out there can turn it around anymore than Moyes can,i think its a team that cant gel

The board is working on "Hope" rather than decisive actions. Its too late for change, keep Moyes until the end of the season, relegated or not and then chose preferred manager which could be a Will Still but highly unlikely, this board is stale, old and lacks true ambition, more likely to bring in failed journey man.

Will Still would be a breath of fresh air, something different but no chance at the BoM. West Ham are not Reims. We have a bunch of overpaid underperforming full Internationals that will never accept the thoughts of a bloke that honed his football skills on the internet!

Declan will definitely go,he wont want to get kicked about in the Championship, the rest of the team in my opinion are that level anyway.

well, at the moment Essex, he looks like a Championship player! Hes not taking any game by the scruff and making a difference anymore. He reminds me of Michael Carrick when we dropped down, I was hoping he would boss the playoff against Palace and was no where to be seen... awaiting the big move to Spudz. Just imagine that... Rice at Shite Hart Lane

said it many times before, Rice has no loyalty, West Ham and The Republic of Ireland are just stepping stones.

He's been great for us,but theres no loyalty there....although who can blame him? The club is a shambles at the moment

After seeing some of our other gems go for bargain basement prices that is a worry, however in this case we actually have a bit of leverage with the contract so when he goes it will have to be for a price in excess of 100mill

Seeing those games rescheduled irks me. Why move the Southampton game to the Sunday when we play Newcastle on the Wednesday and then Fulham on the Saturday. That's being stitched up massively
