Wouldnt have dropped Emerson to the bench ,thought he was good on thursday night ,i can see Dino's thought proses though ,get crosses into the box .
Still wouldn't include Souchec ,hasn't done enough for me.

Emerson has done well & souscek starts again for some bizarre reason but I suppose it's rotation for the cup!!

Fortunately for us all, the chairmen have the inside knowledge and a good understanding of...
1. The injuries to our key players and what it has meant to the team
2. The time it takes for foreign players to adapt to the most competitive league in the world
3. Th foreign players have to build an understanding with their new teammates, including playing in a new formation.
4. It is very rare for foreign players to hit the ground running and fortunately for us, that is what happened with both Soucek and Coufal... But it is rare.

A lot of what I have been reading would make you believe that the chairmen of West Ham, a MASSIVE financial concern, had a death wish.
As it turns out, they are simply not knee-jerk merchants and have a good understanding of what is going on inside their club. After all, it wasn't the kit man who put the team out today or for that matter on Thursday.

I just wanted to inject a little realism to stop us from turning into the spuds.
Big win for US, Massive Loss for the Spuds, you don't get much better days than this

Your right Green Street,no knee jerk reactions, and has turned out to be very wise, they have backed Moyes and it has paid off.No getting away from it,this has been an awful season, but the team is falling into place in front of our eyes now,and what could of been a disaster, could now turn out not too bad,mid table finish, and even a European Cup,credit where credits due,Sullivan may have more up top than we think, its not all in his pants lol

Spot on...
We all have a love for this club and it hits us all hard whenever we lose as we all wear our hearts on our sleeves at times and our reactions tend to come from the heart instead of from the head.
The way that I see it, is that too many people have dug themselves into a hole and can't bring themselves to admit that what they are seeing right now is a result of key players coming back from injuries and these players getting accustomed to the pace of the Premier League, teammates and the way that the team is set-up.
But that's the way I see it and others may look at things in another way.

...... Paqueta, Aguerd, Emerson, Cornet and Scamacca were all new additions this season and were meant to be key players in this team going forward. Injuries, world cup, losses of form etc.
I won't be doing any back and forth but I know what I can see and others will see what they want to see...But recent results lean towards what I believe as the proof behind my reasoning, as the kit man didn't pick the team.

We've beaten two piss poor teams whose defences didn't turn up on the day. Revel in the moment but even TWO swallows don't make a summer.

I honestly believe that Sully couldn't be bothered to replace Moyes & they have both got lucky yet again! We have great players,Rice,Pac,Bowen,Ants when his mind is on it,coufal etc eventually we had to come good! I also believe the players had enough of the defensive dinosaur approach & are going for it.Theres competition for places, hence fornals coming on & scoring,Emerson & cresswell are fighting for the LB spot...we have been dreadful all season & that is down to Moyes & the lazy board imo...at last we are reaping the rewards of having quality players but Moyes has had his day & next season a new dynamic manager is needed

so missed the game entirely but got regular updates.... can someone tell me why Cornets goal was chalked off? Just for the record I have always had faith in Cresswell and Coufal and today proved me spot on from what I have read. Have a great Monday peeps!

Whatever it is mate we must be thankful that we have turned a corner,it would of been disastrous to have gone down, then the finger of blame would of needed to of been pointed, who would we have got to replace him, other than someone of the same......I still reckon he will be here next season,if the fight and determination carries on then im all for it......Mate we could win this Euro thing now crap or not,and i have called it that many times.....Its that humble stuff again.

I'll eat loads of humble pie if it means we produce performances like this week & especially today, your right also Moyes will probably be here next season!I just think he's got lucky again,as for the euro Cup it will be amazing to win some silverware at last!

As you know mate ive nearly jumped in the canal many times,im just so pleased,im watching a better performance and scoring goals something we couldnt do a month ago, look at Paqueta, you could see he had it there but it didnt happen, its certainly clicked now, what a player, him and Ants are working well, even hes back to his old self.
