D Day!

Funnily enough we at the Org have just been loading up the old Range Rover, complete with silver and black RAF roundels on its sides, in preparation for our Normany landing! We are scheduled to view the Irons on the road tour encompassing the game against fellow UEFA Europa League qualifiers Stade Rennais, or Rennes as they are more commonly known in France, on Saturday the 29th of July.

Ironically the Declan to Arsenal deal, already dubbed D Day, will be confirmed as we are either in mid channel or just before our departure. The conclusion of this long protracted deal will be a blessed relief to many fans who just want to move on.

It is bad enough selling the club's best player for a generation to London rivals, but the time taken has made the whole affair even less palatable. Apparently all the I's have been dotted and the T's crossed on Declan Rice's contract in anticipation of a 'Huge' press announcement before Rice's new club Arsenal fly off for their USA tour.

For some obscure reason West Ham's FFP co-efficient seems to be the reason that the club has paused transfer action due to UEFA's strict rules for clubs taking part in next season's European competitions, perhaps someone might have a word will ALL the clubs in Europe who flagrantly break the rules ALL the time!

Hopefully the floodgates will open and Tim Ze German will be able to 'outflank' some of the other teams in the Premier league who have already laid their towels down in the transfer market, including Nottingham Forest who are still splurging cash like it is going out of fashion!

Left back, right back, central midfielder X2, at least one additional striker, more likely two and an additional centre back are the bare minimum requirements to refresh a squad that is still old, albeit not as old as of recent times.

Without 'proper' recruitment the club will be going backwards. It is to be hoped that EVERYONE involved is reading from the same song sheet, otherwise "there may be trouble ahead".

Despite the success of attaining a European trophy last time out, another turgid domestic season cannot be contemplated if WEst Ham are finally to take the next step up towards the glass ceiling! - Ed

Unfortunately the picture WAS designed to be highly offensive, it is supposed to be a reminder to all the Dinosaurus lovers out there that decs would have stayed if Dino had been gone! ...That Said I will probably take the offensive image down later today!

I do genuinely believe that Rice might have stayed had Moyes gone and a more progressive manager been bought in. It's not just Moyes either. The board need to take some of the blame as well and I don't necessarily mean a Saudi consortium type takeover. Just a board that give fans a feeling that they're in it for the club and not the money.

This Rice business has gone on too long, hes gone, wont be too long in the new season, and he will be patting his chest, and kissing the cannon.

But hey he didn't go on strike like payet & arnie! He gave his all. I know us fans would have payet back in a flash if he could still produce.
I don't wish him luck at the gooners, they are top 6 rivals but we will pocket 120 mill ( bloody hell for a westham player!!) Mind you we paid half a mill for Phil parkes, the most expensive keeper ever!
Give it a few years & he will back

Personally I wish Dec nothing but the best. He did everything the right way. Left through the front door, gave his heart and soul for the club. Never moaned, never wanted away, he's right up there for me.

But we move on. Moyes must show his intent now and we must buy the right players.

I too genuinely think despite trophy success. Dec could not stand another tortuous season under the Dino meister. For that reason he's out. He will never forget where he came from. My only regret is we never saw him as England Captain which he will no doubt go on to be...

Oi big boy, what's your name?

Is he as good as everyone makes out?If he succeeds at the Arse, good for him, will he be as happy as he was at the biggest club in London?
If he improves England I'll support him,I mean I cheered when Kane scored a few.

I cheered when Kane scored penalty against France in WC Semi, but he was lucky he wasn't in ear shot when he missed the second and that, and the fact he's a spud means I will never cheer him again!. Hopefully he moves to Germany.
As for Dec's, you've been unfollowed on social's, Goodbye

I agree with boogers ,i dont see the point in all this hatred of former players ,( with the exception of Judus ) ,i rated him well within the top ten in the world ,sure, he went to what some would call " rivals " ,its clear he wanted to stay in London so who else but the gooners ,the best of luck Dec ,you deserve to win something ,i hope with all my heart you'll receive a fitting welcome on your return .

As far as I'm concerned he's one of our own. 14 years old through the academy will do for me. I'm 60 and not wet behind the ears he is as good as I've ever seen. Time and history will decide the end of the story...

Well, for me to see him in the Arse shirt is sickening, weve just had the best thing thats happenned to us in years, and he goes, yes we all knew he would one day,but you cant help but be sick about it,then he states hes signed a 5 year deal that will give him his best years in football, thanks Dec.......Harry Kane is nearly 30,hes given Spurs his best years, and won nothing, they should cash in now and let him go.

He agreed to sign for arse in February, i would have given him more respect if he came out then and told the truth ,instead of keeping everyone guessing, he wasn't loyal he played for the move, this is a man who changed nationality..to further his career..now he's done the same thing .in his arse statement he says he will play his heart out against us .never heard player say that before. At least we wasn't mugged on fee. Makes a change....

Well said Bibs,i could of wrote more, but you summed it up well, some people are a bit soft, whatever is thought about Moyes or Sullivan, they do want to win you know, they arent in it to lose and we are a big club.......I hope Arse win nothing next season, but we do,and we spank them in the league.....I would of understood it more if he had gone to Man City.
