But yes its fun reading the spud sites today...it was only a friendly it doesn't matter....but hey we won our cup final lol two in a row now.....and those deluded spud fans think they have a shot at the top four lol how long has the aussie got before the familiar moans appear at that shitty joke of a club...all cock but no balls.......
Was like Monday night football (on a Tuesday) down under. 8pm kick off was almost nostalgic and to get a win was extra sweet what with all the talk of Angeball and the 1st Aussie manager in the Prem and Tottenham were superior everywhere, the build up was unbelievably biased. The number of Aussies who have jumped on the Spuds bandwagon cos of Abge post-a-glue is nauseating inc a number of my mates so I've enjoyed getting an early one over them already
It was classic Moyes, zero possession, 5 along the back, rely on your keeper (Fab was brilliant!) hope that Harry The Chin has an off day, which he did, expect Richarlison be incapable of hitting a cows *rse with a banjo, hit them on the break and keep your fingers crossed! No Dec to make a tackle or interception is a big worry for the future. Bowen, like the game against Perth, was unplayable. No idea whats in his contract but extend it now, double his salary and make him captain!!!!
No, daughter was away in Fiji so we were "Dog Sitting" :o(
We are also off to Brisbane to watch the Lionesses and then the Mrs flys back to Blighty for a couple of weeks, the logistics just didnt work. Did you go? looked like a decent crowd. It was a joy not getting up in the middle of the night to watch a game... could have a few beers!!!!
Couldn't go, Got a trip to Spain next week so the $ spend was too much to get across to Perth as well.
Gutted. Hopefully they'll be back next year. Guess the Spuds will probably make it annually too now what with Ange in charge, unless of course he's elbowed at some time during the season
I know how's that for timing! Hoping it cools a little, I can deal with the mid 30's, you get used to that down under but above that you end up trapped inside under the aircon!!! Although to be fair, getting away from Melbourne winter for 3 weeks will be bliss, the winds whipping up from Antarctica are chilling!!
The weather here has been fantastic! Mornings are chilly around 7 degrees but most days up to at least 19 and sunny. No rain in weeks...Call this winter.... LOL!!!
lol, once you adapt, trust me it's cold. I was fine for the first few years after moving down here, now I'm as soft as the locals when it gets down to those temps!! It's 13 in Melbourne, with the wind chill factor it feels single digits brrrrrrrrrr
Lanzarote climate - been in November mid 20s,perfect time is about 6pm,as the sun starts to go down still around 21,22 having a sneaky beer or 3! Quite chilly at night but that's OK for sleeping,Portugal been tons of times, but even there is too hot in the summer may & October is a great time...
Not sure that Spudz will be heading south again M2C, recent history shows that revolving door at shite Hart Lane will have turned and spun poor old Ange out the door in less than 12 months!!! ;o)
If it wasn’t for Fabs we wouldn’t have won I’m afraid, typical Moyesball, sit back and defend for our lives and hope to catch them on the counter especially in the second half. The first goal by Ings had me worried because he is not supposed to use his head until his hair transplant has taken but he did it anyway. The second by Mubama was well taken and that kid needs more game time this season. Then in the second half Spurs changed most of their players and managed to bring it back to 2-2 but a sublime ball by Pablo the great through to Scamacca saw him dribble through and finish like a proper striker to make it 2-3 to the mighty Hammers. The thing is both halves Spurs had their top players against half our team and a few youngsters and all the bullshit their fans saying it’s only a friendly is nearly as big a joke as their main buy last summer Richarlson, prancing around like he is the best player in the world and couldn’t hit the side of a multi story shithouse.
Big call out to Fabs but a special mention to Potts, Mubama and Laing, they where brilliant, the future looks good.

agree with all of that Alby
would add that Murphy looks like something for the future in the Perth game.
How was the atmosphere during and after the game? all looked friendly enough?
Yes the future looks good,
Yes the future looks good, Alby. It’s the present I’m worried about.
Love it Alby
Thanks for the report
