Just realised its 75 years today!Bit emotional cos I had a few tests in hospital a few days ago...these,doctors,nurses,hco's,porters cleaners etc ( no particular order they are all amazing)treated me with the utmost care,respect & above all humour when you need it...laughter is the best medicine.I salut you

At our age they are more interested in what goes on in the rear area than the front lol....had my brush with covid you all know about that and recently had a procedure myself again you can't knock the professionalism of all the staff shame the goverment does not respect the NHS as much as they Lauded that throughout covid.....no money they say 15 year plan they say blah blah blah its all bullshit we all know it and when the election comes around next summer guess they will find some money for them to show us hey look we do look after the NHS Pffff all bollox

Ive had that done many times ,colonoscopy or such like first time about 20 years ago ,no sedative whatsoever,the doctor had to tell me to stop screaming ," this is a hospital, people are trying to get some rest " as Billy Connolly says ,"going in was excruciatingly painful ,but coming out wasn't the worst feeling in the world "

I have the same procedure every 3 years, getting used to it now. My Dad had it done years ago, he told the guy not to use condom on the end as he was Catholic!!! :o)
